The Space:

Wait until you see all of the updates. This condo's been completely redone since Hurricane Sally. The building has also received a facelift and is just beautiful! Come see for yourself!



You'll fall in love with this 1st floor beachfront condo at Tropic Isles (not ground floor). This beautifully decorated 2 BR/2BA sleeps 6 with a king bed in the master bedroom with an incredible walk-in shower and wide-open master bathroom. In the second bedroom, you’ll find a queen and a set of twin bunk beds. Interior appointments include a fully equipped kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances and an oven with a warming drawer, 3 TVs, DVD player, fireplace, hair dryers, beach chairs, washer and dryer, a work desk with space for all your charging needs, a gulf front balcony accessible via the living room, an assigned parking spot, and high-end cotton linens. Complex amenities include a heated outdoor pool (in the winter), charcoal grilling area, teak boardwalk to the beach and outdoor shower. 



Tropic Isles is the fourth condominium complex to the west of The Hangout and all of the events centered at Gulf Place, the main public beach space in Gulf Shores. So, that means you can walk to all of the events and venues. Just think, you could be steps away from The Hangout, the Shrimp Festival, the women’s NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship . . .  and so much more. It’s all right around the corner.



Situated one floor up from the ground level, Tropic Isles 101 affords you incredible views of our white sand beaches and the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Sit on your balcony in the morning enjoying a cup of coffee as pods of dolphin swim past your condo. The condo’s kitchen has everything you need to pull together a seafood feast at the beach and the complex has a charcoal grilling area if you’re in the mood for some char-grilled goodness. It’s all right here at Tropic Isles 101.



Sitting just a few blocks from the epicenter of the beach, there are more than a dozen restaurants and shops within walking distance of your condo. You may not ever need your car!



When you’re ready for some action, the beachside pool is a great place to start. The teak walkway to the beach makes your trek to our soft, sandy beach a breeze. Parasailing and jet ski rentals are all just a few steps away at the public beach.

I have stayed at many locations on the gulf and I can say this was by far the best location ever. We walked pretty much everywhere, we were that close to all the main attractions in gulf shores. It’s a smaller condominium building so it was not crowded at all. This is located on the first floor, so the elevator was not needed. The pool was warm so that was nice since the ocean water was still cold. There is a master bed/bath and then a full size bed with a set of bunks in the second room. It was pretty much perfect.

Overall a great experience!! Only down fall was dumpster got dumped at 530 every morning and it was loud outside master bedroom window, and master bed room sheets had some stains on the sheets. I would definitely stay here again!!

Beach vacation with hiccups

Took 30 minutes to find out if we were in the right spot or not. My phone died on the way in. Check in was ok they were changing a shower curtain when I was checking in. Did not mind.we brought floats we knew we were coming on vacation my floats were stolen out of the pool holding area. Then the car tag the wind blew it off my dash on day so the try to fine me. There is no office.they need a number of someone you can call since it is managed.The property was very nice. Very well kept. Beautiful. The beach was beautiful and the access to it was cute. The view was great

I’m not sure how many condos are at this property. About 40. We prefer this because the beach area isn’t as crowded. It is an older property but this unit has nice updates and was as presented on the listing.

Great location!

This condo is in the perfect location if you are wanting to walk to many destinations. It is also perfect being on the 1st floor, so we didn’t need to take the elevator. It is decorated really nicely! We were shocked at how quiet it was on Memorial weekend. It was just a great stay!

Great 1st floor location above pool

I brought my 80 yr old mom to the beach. She wasn’t interested in going in the hot sun so I enjoyed the pool while she hung out on the balcony overlooking the pool. The location is perfect for her to be “part of” the fun without being IN the sun. Parking was easy and convenient to room

Beach time

The condo is cute and is stocked for short stay visits. Bring your spices etc but plenty of pot/pans and dishes. The towels could use some softener but we remedied that our selves. The beach has easy access, and a spray off station upon return. The pool is great. We really enjoyed our stay, lots of places to walk to or quick ride. We did the state park bike ride, loved it! The beach is beautiful, white and fluffy sand 😍. We saw crabs, dolphins, lots of 🐚, and some jelly fish. We will come back for sure!!

Needs a deep clean.

We went as a family of four. Loved the location of the beach. The downside was the property needs a very deep cleaning. It would have been nice to have boogie boards for kids and chairs that were more sturdy for the beach.

Mother/Daughter/sister trip

When we arrived we noticed lots of things i clean. Razor in shower, chips and sand on floor, dirty sock in floor, freezer dirty, lots of dust on things. We called and they sent someone back to clean it. We didn’t feel comfortable so we bought supplies and cleaned ourself. Beach chairs are available to rent, however we brought our own and someone stole them. The toliet over flowed the first night and bathtub would not drain. Someone showed up to fix that on the 3rd day of our 4 day trip. I probably would not stay here again. There are so many other options and cleanliness is a huge factor.
