Nice butâŠStayed Nov 2025 for 5 nights. Property is nice but has some âflawsâ. The biggest problem is the mattresses/beds are terrible. All seven guests had terrible sleep every night. Sagging mattresses, springs could be felt, beds creaked every time you move, 2 beds were propped up underneath with bricks and wood. We used 4 of 5 bedrooms, so it was a consistent pattern. The property is very steep. Getting to the lake might be difficult if you have any knee, back or mobility issues. The driveway is very steep and challenging to park vehicles side by side unless they are small cars. There is a beautiful elevated view of the lake. The house is very spacious with an open concept. There is plenty of space to cook and enjoy family time. We saw ducks each morning and a bald eagle one day. It was winter so we did not use the pool or grill. There are plenty of dishes, glasses, cups, pots and pans, a drip coffee maker, crockpot, hand mixer, blender, toaster, microwave, etc. If youâre going to cook a lot, you might need measuring cups and spoons and larger mixing bowls. (I had brought those)Our host Lesa was very nice and easy to communicate with. I did let her know about the beds along with a broken window pane (that we did not break). She said the mattresses were only about 4 years old, and offered 2 free nights if we wanted to come back in the offseason. While we enjoyed our time and the house, I donât think we would return until the mattresses are replaced.
