Daisy Cottage - Hahei Bach

Daisy Cottage is a 2 bedroom Hahei bach in a fantastic location... The original Kiwi bach, Daisy Cottage is a delightfully presented 1940's cottage situated virtually on the beach front, in the middle of the bay!

This Hahei bach is a mere 5 minute walk from the shops and restaurants of Hahei, and sleeps up to 6 with 1 queen bed in Bedroom 1, a queen and a single in Bedroom 2 and 1 single bed in the hallway.

There is plenty of outside space at this Hahei accommodation, all on the flat, including a generous deck with table and chairs... Plus, there is a BBQ provided to complete your iconic kiwi summer! The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area has french doors opening directly on to the deck, as does one of the bedrooms.

There are 2 shower rooms both with basin and toilet - one is an ensuite to one of the bedrooms and the other located externally to the side of the house. There is an additional outdoor warm shower.

This Hahei holiday accommodation is compact, very user friendly and in an amazing location... This is the original Kiwi Bach!
Note for Boat Parking: The driveway entrance is narrow, therefore competent reversing skills are required.

Hahei is just incredible, and the location of this property (so close to the beach) is wonderful. Sweet & simple place. It was a little tight for our family of five, but I would highly recommend staying here.

Easy

Great location, everything was easy - from check in to check out and everything in between. Two fridges, freezer, dishwasher, BBQ, outdoor seating, umbrellas, comfortable beds, walk to the beach with your morning coffee. No wifi though, so top up your data if you’re sad like me and need to keep working through your holiday.

A Bach not loved

Never once had a reply from the property manager, I had to call multiple times just to get ahold of someone for check in details. Shower completely flooded the first few second after stepping in. I had to pull thick hair and sand from the drain in order to shower. It was disgusting (I now note it was mentioned in previous reviews). Cockroaches in the house, very basic hold hold items, drainage at the house is broke so when it rained it dripped outside all night of the main bathroom. Yet to have a response in regards to the cleaning and I doubt I will. Very disappointed, we left on Monday night cutting our stay 2 days short. The only good thing is it has amazing location. The property has not been cared for a very long time. Also bring your own hand soap as this is not even supplied!

It was a delightful stay

Everything was fine but we need bed in second bedroom made up. We weren’t a couple. Need to put out some ant bait for the chicken. Plunger coffee pot would have been useful, bu made do.

The perfect getaway

Daisy Cottage is a step back in time but is perfect if you need to relax. The cottage is very comfortable, is well equipped, as a modern kitchen, good beds, and is so quiet with only the sound of the sea and birds to disturb you. Access to the beach is fantastic. 2 mins from the back gate. Would highly recommend..

Wonderful Bach

This Bach Was exactly as described and really wonderful. Short walk to the beach and beautiful yard to sit out in. Appliances are all modern and work well in the kitchen is fully stocked. Would return here.

My wife and I stayed here with our 9 week old son for a mid week getaway. perfect size for us, absolutely fantastic location rite on the beach with direct access to the beach from a little gate from the back section..great entertainers deck, very tide inside. Awesome outdoor hot shower for after swimming...it can sleep quite a number of people. Its a very cosy little 2 bedroom cottage, so I'm not sure how many people you would want to squeeze inside if you had a large amount of guests...
