It is a small cozy place for a short stay. Staff are friendly and able to speak english. Check in was very easy. Location is easy to find and great as it is walkable to the train station. I like the breakfast spread.

It is a nice affordable small hotel. It is 7 minutes away from Hakodate Station. Although the neighborhood does not have much except the gas station across the street, you can easily walk to Hakodate Morning Market, Brick Warehouses and other attractions. The room is a basic Japanese business hotel size, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included. Breakfast is nothing fancy---just basic Japanese breakfast. Again, this hotel is a basic "business hotel," but there were couples and families staying there for sight-seeing. So, if you are looking for an affordable hotel with simple breakfast, this hotel will serve your purpose.

The room was clean. The breakfast was fair for the price of the stay. The main problem was there was no air conditioning and we had a heat wave. The hotel had it, but they wouldn't or couldn't turn it on. It was insufferably hot.

Simple hotel suitable for short stay

The hotel is about 10 mins walk from the main JR Station. Do note that there are no English signage outside the hotel. Tourists without knowledge of Jap language will need to depend on your GPS so as not to miss the hotel in the quieter part of town. The owners also do not speak much English but they are very willing to assist.
