"For the price this place was very nice. We needed a place to stay on our first night in Maui and chose Maui seaside hotel because it was conveniently close to the airport. When we first pulled up we were concerned. The main building you walk into is nice but the back building which houses the majority of the rooms looks pretty run down on first sight. We walked into check in and the staff is VERY pleasant. The gentleman who checked me in noticed that my zip code matched the area he went to school and that the street I lived on was one over from his. It was such a coincidental run in! Check in was very easy and we proceeded to our room. The pool area is gorgeous. They have lovely bungalows. The lawns are very well maintained. We booked a newly renovated room and the room was very modern with lovely furniture, comfy mattresses and air conditioning that kept the room cool on the humid warm day. The only flaw is that the building in the back really needs an exterior paint job. Other than that I would suggest this place for a lowkey no frills visit!"
