Halifax Downtown 1 QUEEN BEDROOM in Century Flat - 30 + Nights June / Aug 31



This property on Pepperell Street has downsized and does not sleep 7 people as some of the older websites report. I only have a queen bedroom available for 1 guest anytime between June and August 31, 2025 on a long term basis or at least 30 + nights for one person.

This flat itself is shared with the host and 2 other guests who live on the 3rd floor in loft-like bedrooms.

1 full bath 2nd Floor and 1/2 bathroom 3rd Floor - tiny toilet closet so be careful not to bump your head. :)

"All in one" Washer and Dryer Combo - 3rd Floor - Ironing Board - Drying Racks

The historic waterfront is 18 minutes by foot - Halifax Common / Bike and Skating Oval; Children's Playground, a Skate Board Park and new outdoor swimming pool.

The Convention Centre and the Scotia Bank Centre are only 15 min walk.

Museum of Natural History and the Public (Victorian) Garden are found by foot in 10 minutes.

The Universities i.e., Saint Mary’s, Dalhousie, and Nascad, English as a Alternate Language Schools and Business Colleges are close.

The Canadian Museum of Immigration and Pier 21

Pepperell Street and Robie Street connection is the 2nd highest spot in Halifax.

The Atlantica Hotel sit on the corner of Pepperell and Robie and in the same block as this property / flat - just 2 doors down and across the street.

First time on the East Coast

My husband and I traveled from Victoria to meet up with relatives from the U.K to explore Atlantic Canada. We found Paulette and her accommodations a great place to start our adventures. Centrally located we were able to walk to many local attractions, including Halifax Harbour. Place worked out great for the five of us and definitely would stay again. Thanks Paulette for your hospitality and help during our stay.

Great place, great owner

The apartment was in a great location. 5 minutes walk to the shops and restaurants on Quinnpool Rd, 10 minutes walk to the Citadel, and 20 minutes walk to the harbour. The place had everything we needed and easily accommodated to families consisting of 4 adults and 3 kids. The owner, Paulette was very friendly and easy to communicate with. There was a problem with the kitchen sink faucet and Paulette had a plumber fix the same day. I would highly recommend this place.

Great stay in Halifax

This is a great property for a visit to Halifax. It is very roomy and much larger than the photos would indicate.. We were traveling as a family of five and everyone had their own room. All of the conveniences you need for a comfortable stay are there. It is a great location, very close to downtown and Quinpool Road, which is a block away, has every type of store/restaurant you need. Paulette was a great host and very welcoming. We would highly recommend for a short (or even long) stay in Halifax.

Awesome home away from home!

This had everything we needed for our stay. Clean comfortable, safe, walking distance to all your needs. The owner went above and beyond to help us find anything we questioned, restaurants, grocery store, coffee house. We where a family of4 adults so this gave us our own space very affordable. Excellent, place, location, hostess.

We have never been to Halifax and so were naive about where to stay. We lucked out! Paulette’s place is ideally located for everything we wanted to do...and most in walking distance. Her place was spotless and although she lived below us she did not intrude....unless we asked, and we did! She is a charming hostess and most wonderful to stay with. Our friends and family visiting in Halifax WILL be staying with her.

Spacious bedrooms and kitchen. Close to downtown attractions. Perfect for students or tourists. We were able to sleep 4 adults and 4 children no problem. Does not have a livingroom, but kitchen can be used as a common visiting room for the adults.

The place was clean and comfortable and easy to get to. Paulette was accessible and easy going. We wished more of the windows could be opened to take advantage of the lovely cool air, but were stuck with AC in several rooms. Also, there was no living room or space for our family to gather, other than the kitchen. Best for a bunch of unrelated adults who want to do their own thing in their rooms when not out on the town. We loved Halifax!

Nous avons été trÚs bien durant 3 jours, maison propre, trÚs bien située et Mme Paulette fut accueillante. Il ne manquait qu'un salon, les chambres sont grandes mais l'air de vie commune est trÚs petite, petite cuisine et il n'y a pas de salon. Un beau parc à 2 minutes à pied.
