Agree with all the reviews that this is clearly not a Five Star Hotel. It is in desperate need of renovations. The buffet is also tired and repetitive with leftover food. But my biggest complaint is the staff. I booked this hotel to relax at the beach. My first day, I went to the beach after breakfast (10:00am). I was relaxing for less than five minutes when an employee (a very large man) walks up to me and starts shouting in Arabic, which is my worst nightmare as an American. I had no idea what he was screaming about. Apparently he was putting away the beach chairs and evicted me. I have no idea why. I went to the Front Desk to complain and they told me that Guest Relations would address the situation. GR finally called me late afternoon, took down the info, and promised me a remedy. I was not able to go to the beach all day. At 5:15pm, someone slid a folder under my door. It was a handwritten apology and a coupon for one free soft drink. I was stunned and insulted. When the employee finally left the beach (I could see from my room), I headed to the beach only to find they had locked the doors for the evening (it was only 6:00pm) and the beach inaccessible. I checked out the next morning. My beach vacation was completely ruined by Radisson staff and I only spent 5 minutes on the beach.

The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. There are only 2 small lifts which broke down often and did not feel safe. The hotel smelled of a chemical spray. The pool was crowded with nosy children. Our rooms were not ready even though we arrived 2 hours after check-in time. The food was mediocre.

Nice family hotel. Plenty to keep everyone busy and happy. Even the teenagers. Good location for travelling around Tunisia. Best massage and facial I have had in a long time. Plenty of food options. The buffet was amazing. Internet varied at different parts of the hotel. A bit noisy at times as is full of families with children. But it’s a nice kind of noise of kids having fun. Staff will charge you for even the smallest of requests eg asking to borrow a fork = 5tdn! Porter gave my husband a dirty look when he gave 10tdn as a tip for helping with our bags. Total opposite to our hotel in Tunis where the Porter refused to take any tip and staff went out of their way to help us without expecting any reward or extra payment. We were not given water on arrival. The same Porter brought some to our room asking for another 5tdn. When I told him he shouldn’t be charging for water on our first night he suddenly pretended to talk to someone on his mobile and then asked for 10tdn! By this time my husband came to the door and he immediately changed back to 5tdn. At which point my husband rang reception to clarify. They confirmed no charge.

Mon sĂ©jour au Radisson Hammamet du 11 au 17 aoĂ»t 2025 a Ă©tĂ© catastrophique. MalgrĂ© ma rĂ©servation d’une Family Room via Hotels.com, explicitement indiquĂ©e pour 4 personnes, j’ai Ă©tĂ© facturĂ© 730 € supplĂ©mentaires Ă  l’arrivĂ©e (pour 2 enfants). Le service et la propretĂ© Ă©taient largement en dessous des standards d’un hĂŽtel 5 Ă©toiles : matelas tachĂ©s, cheveux dans la chambre et la salle de bain, bouteilles d’eau laissĂ©es dans l’évier, et mĂȘme des fourmis dans la chambre. La sĂ©curitĂ© Ă©tait Ă©galement problĂ©matique : notre chambre au rez-de-chaussĂ©e avait une porte patio impossible Ă  verrouiller, et aucune action n’a Ă©tĂ© prise malgrĂ© nos signalements rĂ©pĂ©tĂ©s. J’ai tentĂ© de rĂ©soudre ces problĂšmes avec la direction, mais aucune solution concrĂšte n’a Ă©tĂ© proposĂ©e. De plus, en tant que client Hotels.com Silver VIP, aucun avantage VIP n’a Ă©tĂ© appliquĂ©. À Ă©viter absolument si vous cherchez un service digne d’un Radisson.

Perfect Place to Relax and Enjoy!

This is our second stay at the Radisson Blu in Hammamet.The people, the service and the food are terrific. The pool and private beach are a highlight for us as we journey each year to Asia and this is our time to relax and prepare for the onward journey home. Housekeeping does a wonderful job and Sophia in Guest Relations was wonderful in preparing for us a one-day outing to El Jim.
