We spent 4 nights at the Whispering Sands Motel, using as a base to hike in and near Goblin Valley State Park. The room is spacious, very clean and well maintained. The beds are comfortable, and the refrigerator is large for a hotel and has a small freezer that actually works.
Though we didn't ask to have our room cleaned, they emptied the trash, gave us clean towels and replenished the coffee daily, which we appreciated. We had a few small requests for the office, all of which were dealt with promptly and cheerfully.
The only small issue was the wood floors, which are nice, but also transmit sound from next door rooms when people arrive late or depart early (clomping of footsteps). This was minor and we'd stay there again.
