My stay at InterContinental Hanoi Westlake was excellent. The location is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing trip, with beautiful lake views and easy access to nearby cafes and walking areas. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and professional. Room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable throughout my stay. Breakfast was great overall with plenty of variety, though I wish there were more halal options available. Aside from that, everything was perfect, and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hanoi.

Staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bars, restaurants, pool and public areas are well thought out and spacious. The location is 8/10 as it’s a taxi ride to the old quarter but after a couple of nights there you’ll be glad for the tranquility of the hotel. Oh yes, the breakfast isn’t bad either!! 😋

The breakfast was an amazing thread, with foods from all over the world, representing many cultures. The drink options were expansive, with several juices, teas, coffees, different milk (skim, low fat, whole). They also had a cook that would make you any kind of egg you wanted, including eggs benedfict, upon request. Very nice.

Ive been to many other intercontinental hotels, and this one is quite disappointing. This property needs some upgrade.. i believe 5 star hotels should always keep up with maintenance of their property. Room have a moldy smell and ac dont work well. The water also have a scent when turned on in the shower. The outside of my room have bugs… / lizards.. bed have smekk and very uncomfortable. For a kingsixe room that was bookeed, two twin beds were combined therefore theres a gap in between. Very uncomfortable for my husband and i. Willl not be returning to this one as much as i would love to .

Excellent hotel. Other higher rated hotels in Hanoi manipulate their reviews. Having stayed in the so called top rated in the Old Quarter (Oriental Jade and May de Ville) before this I can assure you they are not a patch on this one.
