The town of Harboøre originated as a fishing village in the 16th century and offers quaint harbor atmosphere. You can also visit the rescue station Flyholm, where you can learn more about dramatic rescue operations at sea. Or hike through the nature area near Haarum and observe the many bird species.

Thyroborøn also holds attractions: Jutland Aquarium, the Coastal Center, the Snail House, Thyroborøn Fortress, and more. When hunger calls, you can buy fresh fish here at the harbor and prepare it yourself in the cottage.
