Pet Friendly Home on Dead End, 3 Blocks from Bluff

Incredible privacy in Harbor Springs, 3 blocks from the bluff. This ranch home is located 3 blocks from downtown on a spacious half acre of a dead end road.

Three bedroom, two bath with a mostly finished basement. There is a garage for storage.

Wonderful, quiet outdoor area great for kids, a campfire or a peaceful retreat, year round.
We allow pets, preferably under 40 lbs and ask that you follow a few simple rules:
·Dog must be kenneled if left in the house alone. Please bring your own kennel.
·No dogs on the furniture or bedding.
·Dog waste cleanup is the responsibility of the owner
·Dogs must be pre-approved. Please note them in your reservation request as there is an additional charge.

We are licensed as a short term rental by the City of Harbor Springs, there is a max of 6 guests.

Things to note before booking:
·There are steps to enter the home
·The tree house is off limits that is in the back yard
·There is a fire pit in the back yard, firewood is not supplied. Supervised fires only.
-If you book on VRBO/HomeAway, we can not refunded booking or processing fees.

Harbor Springs weekend
The home is a quiet little home on a side street not more than a 2 minute drive from downtown. Spacious and clean. The host Crystal was amazing, very responsive to all our needs. I would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Harbor Springs for the weekend.

We really appreciated utmost is the quality of bed that insured quality of sleep; the cleanliness and quiet area to stay! Close to everywhere that we traveled and would highly recommend it! It was homey atmosphere and nicely decorated. Host is great with communication!

Quiet, clean getaway
We stayed here last October for a quick weekend getaway and loved it! The space was very clean, just as described, super close to downtown Harbor Springs, and close enough to many other lovely northern Michigan attractions. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again!

Quick trip
Came to Harbor on a quick holiday weekend. Place was clean, quiet and the beds were nice and comfortable. Not much for bells and whistles inside, but a large lot, nice fire pit, and quiet street. Manager was easy to deal with, prompt, and overall this place is great place to stay.

Nice Quiet Stay
We stayed here for a soccer tournament in the area. The house had plenty of space for our family of four to unwind after a long, hot day of soccer. The beds were comfy and the house was clean, just what we were hoping for.

A White Christmas
My family and I had a wonderful holiday stay. The house was perfect for our family of four and, roomy enough to host a few more for dinner. We enjoyed being on a quiet street and watching the deer pass by the front window. We especially enjoyed being so close to town, the grocery, and the ski hill. We will definitely be back.

Last Minute Funeral - Host Unresponsive
I cannot tell you anything about the property because we had to attempt to reschedule or cancel at the last minute due to my father-in-law passing away 2 days before we were scheduled to be there. We understand that there is a technical policy that would mean no refund after a certain time, but were hoping for a some kind of relief as this was a very sad part of my husbands life with his Dad dying from cancer. We know the host would expect to have income from someone staying and if we don't show up that would cost money if a full refund was issued.-- We get that, but we were trying to find out about rescheduling for another time, or maybe getting at least the cleaning fee refunded as NO ONE had to clean anything since we didn't show up. We've been trying via VRBO platform, voicemail, text messages, a ticket with the VRBO toll-free support team, etc in order to contact the owner and she has not returned any calls. Anytime we do get through she says she is in the middle of something (like being at the airport, or being sick), and she will call us back the next day. That call never happens. I would not advise anyone to book with anyone that cannot at least communicate about a terrible situation and try to negotiate some kind of relief or other amicable agreement. Also, VRBO themselves should have policies in place for extenuating circumstances that force people to not be able to show up for a booked reservation,.

We were not at the house much. We were on the road to see the fall colors. We did not use the kitchen at all. Beds were very comfortable.. It met our needs, but we probably would not rent it again
