If you’re coming into town to see Stargate or explore business opportunities in the Brownsville area, I highly recommend the Fairfield Inn in Harlingen. It’s not too far from the airport, and the buffer is worth it given the activity in Brownsville. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the check-in process is quick and seamless. After long travel days, that makes a difference. Bottom line, if you’re coming down from New York or California, this is a safe and comfortable place to stay.
