What a beautiful property, quiet and peaceful. I came to think through some things and just needed some quiet time away. Mike and Vickie were wonderful hosts, great communication and the cottage was ready to receive me as promised. Definitely want to come back!
Check in and check out were very simple and the owners were very accessible when needed. The cottage has everything you need and itâs very cozy. Everything about this place is well built and well kept. There was a big storm the evening we arrived that knocked out power for 14 hours to the whole town. We did have water because the owners ran a generator to power the well and they invited us for coffee in the morning. Thankfully later in the morning, the power came back on. The roads going in and out are covered in sand instead of rock, which made for interesting driving, but it wasnât a problem.
Excellent place for a small family or couple. Quiet and peaceful with a beautiful grouping of pine trees and green grass that looks like itâs out of a movie. All the camping spots and cabins have their own fire pits. Cabin had more than enough supplies for a comfortable stay.
much better then staying here then a motel at same price
we use this small home for Friday late afternoon stay over night , Then our first meal Saturday morning then left for the day return for night . Pack up Sunday morning and left for our actives in Big Sandy for rest of morning and afternoon . Then headed by home . If not book next year will rent it again . It was very peaceful there had ever thing we needed there for our stay
I stayed 3 nights with my two grandsons we had a great time. We fished the near by lakes itâs best if you have a boat. On Saturday we drove to Lonestar to the water park on lake that was really nice. Great local restaurants food was great and the people were very friendly. Overall great experience. The only issue we had was barking dogs early in the morning.
My son and I truly enjoyed our getaway at Music Springs! Juliaâs Cottage was cozy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit, outdoor games, and walking path. We wrapped up our stay with Java & Jesus with the hosts. We would definitely recommend this gem!
music springs is very wonderful and pleasant place to stay.peaceful and quiet. The hosts are very attrntive to your needs. I have stayed here five times now.
We had at a great stay at Music Springs. Perfect spot to get away & relax for a few days. Vicki was very good at communicating with us. The towels, sheets & blankets smelled nice & fresh. Bathroom was very clean. The cottage was a little dusty & mirrors somewhat hazy but not to a point where we felt uncomfortable. It's located off dirt roads so it's understandable. We have family in the area so we would love to visit the cottage again sometime.
I rented the property to do some family business in town. The place was very clean and comfortable. Vicki and Mike were welcoming and answered any questions I had quickly. Would definitely stay again.
The property is secluded in the woods. Very peaceful and relaxing. The cottage is small but has everything you need. Ate outside on the porch, no kitchen table. Had a beautiful view & peaceful surroundings. Would definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed this simple and quiet setting. The cottage had all the basics including ROKU, Keurig, good shower with water pressure and nice backup of toiletries.
Thank you Vicki
I stayed here for a wedding over the weekend. It was clean, cozy and extremely quiet. The hosts were communicative and friendly. Iâd stay there again if in the area.
We needed a place to get away and just rest. A place away from the city that would offer us solace. Having stayed at Music Springs before, we were positive this would be our place. It did not disappoint us! We were able to rest, relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery in a lovely cabin. The hummingbirds, dragonflies and butterflies were a bonus! We went fishing at a local lake, dined at local restaurants and were able to just fix our own in the convenient kitchen. Dual recliners, comfy bed. Shaded sitting area made coffee and meal time great with a view that's breathtaking. Thanks Vicki and Mike for being such wonderful hosts.
This was a great relaxing weekend getaway! The hosts were very friendly and sweet. We had a very clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious little cabin. My husband and I liked that this was a Christian owned location. It was noted that the owners wanted to Glorify GOD and it was just that! We will be planning another getaway here for sure! Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Maxson for a wonderful place to enjoy for our 24th anniversary.
If your looking for a unique camping experience then Music Springs is it. Offering a variety of campsites with one of a kind lodging such as Juliaâs cottage, the Tipi, Schoolhouse, Bunkhouse and several others, Vicki & Mike have made Music Springs a great getaway. A perfect place to take the family or just a weekend away and within any budget, Music Springs is very relaxing, quiet, and fun.
The picture of the cottage leaves you with the impression that it is handicap friendly. The handy cap rails in the bathroom were not in a useful spot. Husband could not take shower for fear of falling without handrails
