This property was pet friendly for a reasonable pet fee, unlike others in the Hays area. The hotel itself is visible from the interstate highway, but getting to it was a completely different challenge, and it offered nothing but asphalt and crushed rock for a pet relieve area. Left early next a.m. to get starting on driving day and had only a cup of coffee from the hotel. Probably won't choose this property on next trip through Hays area.

This is a good value for basic amenities. There is no elevator so not a good choice for those with mobility issues.

Convenient place to stay close to the interstate. It’s clean and comfortable. It is a remodeled hotel that has enclosed open stairways so there are no elevators fyi.

The staff was very friendly and gave me a lot of valuable information at check in about the breakfast schedule, layout of the building, WiFi access instructions, and even a brief overview about how to run the shower. I can tell they have a very talented staff who understand the guest experience. The room was clean and the presentation felt luxurious. The bed was extremely comfortable. I took one star off for cleanliness purely for the bathtub being severely stained and one of the soap dispensers was ripped off of the wall and sitting in the tub. I wiped out the tub, but there was no dirt and I believe that all of the surfaces in the room are cleaned well. It seems like some amenities are older, but the staff takes good care of what they have.
