Country Charm D – Cozy Pet Friendly Cabin in Helen

Close to town, but away from the noise sits Country Charm D, one of the four Country Charm cabins.

This cozy wood cabin has a king bed in the downstairs bedroom and a queen bed in the open loft. The downstairs bathroom features a double sink vanity and a walk-in shower. On those chilly nights, or long days spend your time soaking in the cabin's indoor jetted garden tub. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, flat screen TVs and WiFi.

The road from the cabin leads right into town to all the shops and restaurants. After a fun filled day of activities in and around town, you can sit and relax on the large front porch while watching the sun go down. Come experience Helen while staying in this cozy country cabin.

This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $50 + tax for each additional.

The cabin was great! Close to the Village and lots of things to do- although the jacuzzi tub placement was a little weird, and there could have been more silverware in the kitchen- especially forks. Overall, I would recommend this cabin.

The host was very professional and responded immediatly when I reached out to see if we could check in early. She also check in daily to make sure all was good with our accommodations and stay. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. Everything you need if you felt like cooking. We ate out the whole time. Beautiful area less than one mile off of the main road in Helen. We had plenty of hot water for showers and the heater worked great when it was below freezing for several nights. Nice porch with swing and rocking chairs and outdoor lighting for security. It snowed the Monday and Tuesday we were there. If the windchill wasn't so cold (was really blowing), we would have sat on the porch and watched it snow. When getting ready to leave early Tuesday morning, we saw four deer cross through the front yard. I definitely would stay there again. Helen is a great place to stay since it is kinda centered in between at least three federal/state parks with less than an hour travel time to each of them. Waterfalls and trails were awesome.

It was good

Loved the location. Could have used an extra roll of toilet paper, so we bought some. Also, the couch is very broke down which makes it very uncomfortable to sit in. There is only one other chair besides the couch, so it really should be ready replaced.

Great little cabin not far from downtown. Easy to get to and had the basics of what needed. Longer stays of more than 2 people and plan to make meals may want to bing a few other kitchen items or paper plates/utensils. Dogs loved it and the porch with the gate was awesome.

Amazing cuuzzy cabin in a great location

This cabin was just perfect. The location is a super plus! Away from the town but close enough to walk to it. The only thing I would recommend is to replace the sofa since is worn out. But overall is a great cabin.

The accommodations were great as well as the location. The only suggestion would be to replace the couch. You sink down in it, but we were able to help each other out of it. We would definitely stay there again.

Excess amounts of pet hair

There was just an amazing amount of pet hair throughout the house which made it a challenge to stay there. But decided to purchase cleaning products to clean and disinfect the house as well due to the smell. The owner did offer us a refund to relocate but we weren't about to fine one.

This property is exactly as pictured and more than met our expectations! We would 100% come back!

Beautiful cabin that allows you to feel “in the woods” while being quite close to town. At the age of 42 and 55 we had no trouble with the easy walk. We loved the peacefulness of the cabin. A great place to relax and getaway for a bit. Helen of course is beautiful as always. We will most definetly stay at this property again!!

Great cabin

Great place to stay! Good location. Wi-Fi was very helpful because otherwise you can’t get calls or text during Octoberfest. There isn’t a bathroom fan so it gets very humid after showers. Also the lighting in the cabin is somewhat dim even with the lamps. Maybe different type of bulbs would help brighten the room. I would definitely stay here again!
