Lovely riverside location, enjoyed the river view with morning coffee and afternoon beverages. Room was clean and met basic, simple needs while being right around the corner from DT. Manager was excellent with communication!!
The condo was very clean and decorated beautifully. We loved listening to the river flow by every evening and night, and the cost was below the norm, an added bonus.
This was a great place for our little getaway. Loved that we parked the car and then didn't use it till we left, we walked everywhere. The place was clean and exactly as advertised. We wish there was an easy way to get down to the river to soak our feet.
Room was fine for the 2 nights for just a place to sleep and bathe. I was a little disappointed that it was just one bedroom and bathroom and the tv and fridge were all located within the bedroom. I thought it was a condo with more than the one room. The tv gave us some problems to get working at first but the man at the check in desk came over and got it fixed for us. It's an ok place to stay if you're not going to be in your room much. Which Helen has so much to do so that's not a problem.
Good location but cramped space. Bed to big for room. Chair needs to be replace. Can add tv tables to make more comfortable to spend time in room. Add lamp to the other side of room for those who want to read. Room to dark to read in.
Positive: clean room and comfortable bed. Nice view of the river. Front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful.Negative: coffee pot, but no filters or cups. There wasnât a thermostat, but there was a a space heater. The drink vending machines were out of order.
First off, the owner accommodated us without issue and was awesome. I couldn't ask for anyone any better. The place shown above had some misleading items showing as it having like kitchen etc. Also, the picture is different as there is nowhere to store your clothes; the chest is not there, but he found another room that was much more to our liking. THANK YOU
As advertised, facility is located in downtown Helen, overlooking the Chattooga River. Very comfortable king sized deep mattress. Corners of fitted sheet were for a standard depth mattress and would not remain in place. HVAC worked well, but I could not find a thermostat in the room, nor a return air intake.
Points faibles : Communication, exactitude de lâannonce

Not taken care of. Very disappointed. Stated kitchen. Only sm frig and microwave. The chair was as old as my 100 yr old Grandmother. Was woke up by construction worker at 8am. Sent 2 messages to owner never responded. Would not rent again. The town of Helen was wonderful.
Overall the stay was okay. The description of the room is a little misleading, said there was a kitchen when there was not. There is a mini fridge and a microwave. So be prepared to buy utensils and eat out. The towels provided were dirty and seemed like they had not been replaced recently. The email we received afterward stated a hot tub and grills. Not sure if we just missed them somewhere but we didnât see any grills or hot tubs. This place is the perfect location, as everything is within walking distance. The room was overall clean and nice. We enjoyed our stay.
If I couldâve gotten a refund as late as we got in and found somewhere else I wouldâve⊠in 22yrs of Property Management even my older less cared for properties - I never would let some one, let alone sleep in this. If it was cleaner, fresher, it wouldâve been good, cobwebs, dingy sheets and not only sharing a thermostat with the condo next door (which that condo had control over, we had to ask the front desk to turn off the ac) then we found out there was no water bc they were renovation a neighboring condo - these things are fine and to be expected on an older property for upkeep, but walk your places before someone checks in ⊠there was plenty of vacancy, we couldâve been offered something else
We went into this on a tight budget and understood that we werenât getting anything fancy, but some of the things at this place we just couldnât overlook. As soon as we arrived, we checked the bed and sheets (like we would anywhere) and were met with long black hairs on the pillows and sheets (Iâm a blonde lol). I also found a pair of menâs underwear under the bed!! It was also FREEZING in the room. I will say, the man at the front office, gave us a heater to use for the second night, and it definitely helped. No issues in the bathroom though, cleanliness wise. Again, for the money we spent here I didnât expect a luxurious experience, but underwear on the floor?! Doubt Iâll be back to Helen long enough to stay the night anywhere anyway, but if so it probably wonât be here.
Dirty room floor, no AC no Heat control, no Kitchen. No hot tub, one roll of toilet paper. The picture for the listing looks very unlike the actual room. It appears that this was one room and bath carved out of a larger property. There was no control for the HVAC.The "kitchen" consisted of a min refrigerator with a mysterious substance in the freezer (door was open when we arrived), a microwave, coffee maker, and 2 coffee cups. The deck was actually an outside walkway allowing access to another door/unit and nowhere to sit.The floor had gritty dirt throughout. We have had properties that didn't match exactly but they were close enough if didn't matter.None of the furniture in the listing picture was there when we arrive.Only the river view matched the reservation. The instructions were laughable since they told us to place the dirty dishes in the nonexistent dishwasher and start the cycle. My wife had to talk me into staying as I wanted to just leave. In order to cool off the room we had to leave the sliding glass door open.
