Overlooking the old fishing village of Ahlbeck—which, around the turn of the 20th century, blossomed into a chic seaside resort thanks to its guesthouses—the rooms facing the countryside, some with balconies and spanning about 20 square metres, offer captivating views and exquisite comfort. Furnished with great care and featuring select designer furniture, the double rooms combine luxury and comfort in the most relaxing way imaginable.



Located in the front row, right on the beach, the historic Hotel Ostende showcases a classicist architectural style from around 1900.
Historic on the outside, thoroughly renovated on the inside: classically designed and furnished in a modern style, the cozy rooms and suites are sure to become your favourite place… Many offer an incomparable view across the Baltic Sea to the horizon. The sound of the sea is included.
It’s not “just” your eyes and ears that are treated to a Nordic experience. Your palate will be too. The day begins with a hearty breakfast, which in the summer is often served on the sun terrace with a view of the promenade.
Regional ingredients and sustainability take centre stage in our culinary haven. The head chef places great importance on the origin of the ingredients: from meat sourced from Mecklenburg-based livestock to freshly caught fish and regional cheeses, freshness is what’s served here. The vast majority of all ingredients used come from the region.
The icing on the cake is a cheerful, dedicated Ostende team that will pamper you with enthusiasm and joy.
