The Hyatt is under construction. The shower did not work and the amenities were closed. I understand the pandemic issues but cleanliness and upkeep is really problematic.

Not My Idea of a Great Stay

The room had not been cleaned or linens changed. When approached about this my disabled mother was handed the linens and she had to strip and remake the bed herself. Air conditioner was loud and some lights weren't functional. I would not stay here again.

Pros: Cleanliness, and curtesy of the hotel staff....
Location: Great location, with lots of restaurants near by. It was also very close to where the graduation ceremony was being held.
Great hotel, and staff. The hotel was very close to where my son's graduation ceremony was being held.

Staff was very friendly and room was clean.

Pros: Free breakfast
The staff was friendly and welcoming. Each member of the staff, regardless of their position, greeted us when we passed them in the lobby/hallways. The room was very clean and well appointed. The breakfast area was a bit small for the number of people being served.

Best Long Term Ever!

Have stayed at this property many times. Once for six weeks, Summerfield has amenities you won't find at other properties, and very nice rooms. I am amazed this place can do what it does for the rates they charge. I can't think of any other place in the DC area (and I have stayed at many places) that is a better value. Also, they do a great job at recruiting exceptional staff. Twenty years ago I was in corporate sales for a 5 star property. Prior to that I was a front desk manager. I know hospitality. Hyatt Summerfield stands out above and beyond any compatible property in Washington.
