Relax at Magnolia (974525) and enjoy the secluded beauty of nature with a year round mountain view. Your view includes the monument of Brasstown Bald, the tallest point in Georgia. Sit back in one of the 4 Amish rocking chairs on the deck. Our fully furnished mountain home has three bedrooms and three full baths. The kitchen is located on the main floor with a breathtaking view of the mountains. A vaulted ceiling living area has a 50' Flat SCREEN TV, Blueray DVD player, wood burning fireplace along with the master bedroom on the main level. Downstairs is a separate living area with TV, stereo, full bathroom and washer and dryer.
Enjoy feeding the birds from the bird and hummingbird feeders. There is an outside fire pit, grill and chairs to enjoy the view from a stone patio. See for miles. A beautiful private location.

The home has central heat and air along with wireless internet. Come and enjoy a home decorated in mountain decor with one of the best views in Hiawassee Georgia, just a short drive to the middle of town.

The house was fantastic and exactly what I wanted. It was clean, had extra towels and blankets, all the gadgets and cooking tools we needed. Karen was responsive and helpful. The house was easy to locate, quiet and had everything we needed for our stay. There’s a grocery store nearby and lots of different parks and hiking options. It was beautiful and I would definitely stay there again.

The cabin was well appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. It was nice that there were 2 king size beds. The loft area was constructed for privacy for two twin beds and had a nice bathroom. The cabin has an amazing view and fire pit area.

Long weekend getaway to the area. Property was great / view is beautiful. Everything was very clean / beds very comfortable. The stairs to the bedroom downstairs are steep but there is a railing to hold. We saw deer and rabbits in the neighborhood every day. Close to town with nice grocery store and good restaurants. We did hiking tails and paddle boards on Lake Chatuge. Great activities in area and the cabin is good location for all of these activities.

A peaceful reunion

I surprised my husband for his 65th birthday by arranging a reunion with his old Navy buddy and wife. I could not have picked a better place. The cabin was so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting around the table playing cards and sitting on the porch enjoying the mountain view and listening to the guys reminisce about the good old days in the Navy. We laughed at their antics back then, them playing pool downstairs. The cabin was fully furnished with all one needs, the beds are comfortable, and the place was very clean and decorated to make a cozy, homey feel. Thanks again for a wonderful place to make memories!

Overall I won’t stay there anymore.

The location is good. The Mountain View is beautiful. No early check in before 4pm, but there’s 50 late fee for 22 minutes late check out. No privacy in the house. You can hear everything from ever corner of the house even you close the door of the bedroom. We didn’t use any of the appliances and utensils as we brought our own, which saved the house keeper’s time to unload the dish washer.The bath towers provided by the house were so old, not even good for mopping the floors. Especially the ones in the first floor bathroom were all of the bleach stains which caused the nightmare of the whole trip. Not sure if the housekeeper informed the property manager. Anyway the late check out fee is enough to get the new bath towels. I wish I could have taken the pictures of the stained towels.

Excellent nature getaway

Our stay was April 21-25. We wanted a nature based vacation in the blue ridge mountains. This cabin is perfect. There are many hiking trails close by. We focused on the Appalachian Trail. Access to the trail is only 15 minutes drive to the Dick's Creek Gap trailhead. This provided for an unlimited day of hiking (or multiple days if you are in to backpacking). There is a great outdoor store located in Hiawassee, the Trailful Outdoor Co., if you need anything related to hiking or camping.There is a lake very close, however our focus for this trip was on hiking. There is a Dollar General 5 minutes drive, and a grocery store (Ingles) 10 minutes away.This property was wonderful. When we returned from hiking, we sat outside and enjoy the amazing views of nature. We had everything we needed, and it is extremely comfortable.Being a dog-friendly accommodation, we were able to bring our dog with us on this trip.Thanks so much Karen and Samantha!John & Jackie & Gracie (our dog)

Anniversary in the mountains

Perfect weekend getaway for us and our 2 dogs! Nice, clean home within easy driving distance of the lake, restaurants, grocery, etc. We will definitely be coming back!
