Room was small and looked out on the Hooters parking lot. there were 2 dehumidifiers in the room upon checking both running but not the a/c in the room....smelled a little dank. Some evidence in the carpet and trim of water damage. Room very small, but bed was comfortable

Did not use laundry. Just beginning to learn about Hickory after recent house purchase. Rooms were very clean. Only complaint was the lack of hot water for a shower. All other amenities were intact. Staff was pleasant and there was actually hot breakfast at 8 AM. Kitchen staff was very attentive. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The AC in the room kept turning its self off when turned on that is about the biggest compliant. And one listing said a hot tub in every bathroom which was a lie there wasn’t even a tub in the room we got so that was disappointing but I know I would be with that lol

Immediately upon entering, there was a foul smell in the lobby, and in the room. It was difficult to breathe. Without unpacking or sitting down, we went to the front desk to cancel the reservation and find different lodging. The adjustment for the A/C was on the window unit, that would indicate how outdated the hotel is and possibly the comfort level.

Our commode was stopped up and when the room was cleaned no one bother to unstop it. We kept asking for a plunger and we were going to plunge it ourselves and the 3 times we went to the desk checking for the plunger the person on the desk was talking to a gentleman and we never got it unstopped and suffered through it all Friday night. Nor did she report it to the incoming staff.
