Ocean One 323 - Oceanfront 3rd Floor Condo

With decks off the living room and master bedroom, guests staying in Ocean One 323 enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and its white sandy beaches. Ocean One 323 sleeps up to 6 people with a king bed in the master bedroom, two twins in bedroom 2, and a living room sleep sofa. After hours in the surf, vacationers rinse under the outdoor shower located on the complex's private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool. Ocean One is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. Kitchen has been remodeled in & the master bath has also been completely renovated with a walk in shower. Ocean One has added a brand new grilling area to the complex just beyond the pool.

The unit needs updating badly. One .sofa is too dirty to sit on. Fabric is so worn out on foot stools that it is torn and falling off . The beds in guest bedroom are unstable and squeak loudly with any body movement. Several lamps do not work. The dishes are a mixture of unmatched very old plates, cups and bowls . The toilet in the guest bathroom runs constantly .

Perfect location, great view.

The location is perfect, you are very close to Coligny Plaza and are on the ocean, with a great view. The condo was cleaner than others we have stayed in. We knew about the balcony construction which fortunately ours wasn't worked on during our stay. The main issue we had was that the pool was closed and we had no correspondence about that. The kids were really looking forward to having the pool to swim in. Would have just been nice to know prior to arrival.

Beautiful View and Location

We really enjoyed our stay. The view was awesome with a nice pool and short walk to the beautiful beach. The location of the condo was perfect because we didn’t have a car but we were only 1 1/2 blocks from Coligny Plaza that had a grocery store and many shops and restaurants/bars with entertainment. The condo was pretty true to what the description and pictures showed, but it would have been nice to know that there is a Kuerig and there was a bonus of beach chairs, but would have been nice to have beach towels furnished.

So much noise!

Constant construction and major ground renovation made it absolutely impossible to escape loud and constant noise. There is a big difference between repair/maintenance and construction. This was construction and lots of it. The unit itself was just ok with very few amenities, cheap and mismatched decor topped by a horrific mattress in the master. Openly present mold, mildew and dirt. It is evident the owners are trying to retain every penny possible instead of reinvesting in the property where people might enjoy their stay. This is our fourth visit to Ocean One and we love the area. We will be back but definitely not to this unit. What a waste of money and a thorough I let down for a vacation.

Overall a great place to stay. It was very clean and has wonder view of the ocean with a nice large balcony to enjoy. Location is just about perfect as you can walk to plenty of shops and restaurant.

Excellent management and location. Condo in serious need of rehab and cleaning. Sink did not drain and closet doors do not close. Furniture is old. Toilet ran all night.

Beautiful Views

We love Ocean One’s location, beautiful views and pool. Condo 323 however, needs updating, cleaning, and TLC. The king mattress is very hard and old. There appears to be what looks like black mold on the Master bedroom’s ceiling around a water leak. The carpet is worn there also and there is an exposed nail in the bedroom’s threshold that I stepped on. There aren’t any skillets for cooking, so would need to bring additional cooking utensils. The shower and tub in the twin bedroom need TLC with a new, clean shower curtain and to scrape off the old rusted anti skid strips in the tub. I would suggest purchasing new blankets, as they are very worn. And also getting new bedding for the twin beds. There was what appeared to be a blood stain on the pillow sham. As you can see, there are some issues that should receive prompt attention, but could be very lovely and most comfortable of care placed back into this particular unit. We absolutely loved the views and close proximity to the ocean. The grounds keepers and gate security were so friendly and welcoming. We would choose to rent a different unit next time unless some changes could be made first. But Ocean One is a lovely complex. We still had a wonderful, blessed vacation.

Prime Location

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay on HHI. The condo is in the perfect location...just steps to the beach and pool...a short walk to Coligny and shopping. You really never need to get in your vehicle once on the property.

Beautiful view!

I'll start with the positive remarks. The kitchen and master bath were nicely remodeled. The view was perfect!! The floral couch was disgustingly soiled. We covered it with a blanket. Also the recliner, was even worse. We didn't sit in it the entire time. The first thing we did when we arrived was wash the towels. They were soiled and not even sure they were even washed with detergent. I slept on one of the twin beds and I can't say it was comfortable. The tub in the guest bedroom was very flimsy. I felt like I might fall through. This condo could use a paint job throughout and updates on furnishings. We will not stay in this condo again. Thank God for the view!!
