Let yourself be inspired for a very special holiday in our Swedish house in the Bavarian Forest. In the middle of untouched nature you can let your mind wander and enjoy real Scandinavian living feeling. The chalet was built with attention to detail from original Swedish polar pine - natural materials and the friendly elegance inside convey warmth and security. On 110m2 of living space you will find all the comforts of a feel-good holiday: luxury fitted kitchen with large island, oven, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine, comfortable seating area with space for up to 6 people (max. 4 adults), full HD flat screen TV with Sky TV package, free Wi-Fi, well-being bath with 14m2, guest toilet, 3 cozy bedrooms, a sun terrace with sun loungers, garden furniture, Weber grill and large garden with raised beds for the amateur cook and play equipment (swing, sandpit) for the little ones Guests.

The chalet is located in the tranquil village of Hinterschmiding on the edge of the Bavarian Forest National Park. Whether hiking, mountain biking or cross-country skiing - you can start directly from the house. The very family-friendly Mitterdorf ski area is only a 15-minute drive away. Numerous restaurants in the surrounding area ensure culinary experiences. Culture vacationers will also get their money's worth with the beautiful three-river city of Passau (30 minutes) or the World Heritage city of Krumau (45 minutes). Fashion enthusiasts will find themselves in nearby Waldkirchen through the Garhammer incl. Star restaurant 'Johanns' will certainly find it. Depending on your mood, there is something for everyone.
The Swedish chalet is v. a. designed for family vacation. Therefore, a total of up to 6 people are allowed, but max. 4 adults.

What a fabulous property, we were met my the Property Manager who explained everything about the property, along with giving us some local cake, during our stay he checked in occasionally to see that all was OK The property is located in a small and quaint village very close to the Bayerische’s Wald where we did a lot of hiking The property was immaculate, very clean and comes with everything you need, so truly a home from home During our stay the towels were changed which we didn’t expect but a very nice touch Upon check out we were presented with a nice jar of honey, which is produced locally within the village We would highly recommend this property for your next holiday

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus
Wir durften zwei erholsame Wochen in dem sehr gut ausgestattetem und sehr schönem Ferienhaus verbringen. Unserem besonderen Dank gilt Familie Lenz für den freundlichen Empfang, den leckerem Kuchen und der tollen Versorgung vor Ort. Das Schwedenchalet können wir nur weiter empfehlen.

Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub
Wir können ohne Übertreibung sagen, dass dies eines der schönsten Ferienhäuser war, in denen wir jemals waren. Sehr ruhige Lage (für uns ein wichtiges Kriterium), top Ausstattung, modern und doch gemütlich eingerichtet und jede Menge Platz. Sehr nett fanden wir, dass bei Ankunft ein leckerer Kuchen im Kühlschrank auf uns wartete. Ebenfalls erwähnenswert die Tatsache, dass es im Garten zwei Hochbeete gibt, wo man sich mit frischen Kräutern, Salat, Karotten etc. versorgen konnte. Fußballfans kommen dank Sky auf ihre Kosten. Ein Bäcker und ein kleiner Supermarkt sind in Fußentfernung. Von Hinterschmiding aus ist man mit dem Auto schnell in der Stadt Freyung und auch an den anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten des Bayrischen Waldes. Ein Tagesausflug nach Passau sollte auf keinen Fall fehlen (ca. 25 Minuten mit dem Auto, am besten den großen Parkplatz gleich an der Donaubrücke nutzen, in der Innenstadt gibt es wenig Parkplätze). Auch Tschechien (ca. 10 Kilometer bis zur Grenze) und das Mühlviertel in Österreich bieten lohnenswerte Ausflugsziele und tolle Wandertouren. Hier sollte man für die Anfahrt aber genügend Zeit einplanen, da man aufgrund der topographischen Gegebenheiten manchmal kleinere und kurvenreiche Landstraßen benutzen muss und nicht immer den direkten Weg fahren kann. Auch die direkte Fahrt nach Linz zieht sich etwas über die Landstraßen, der südliche Weg über Passau und die Autobahn würde einen großen Umweg bedeuten. In den Wäldern rund um den Ort waren zu unserer Zeit (Oktober) viele Pilze zu finden, die für die eine oder andere leckere Mahlzeit sorgten. Wir können das Haus vorbehaltlos empfehlen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, es gibt noch viel zu entdecken dort!

Eine Ferienunterkunft, die eine Bestnote verdient. Exzellente Ausstattung, wunderschöne Umgebung, besonders familienfreundlich mit sehr vielen verschiedenen Kinderbüchern und Spielsachen. Sehr sympathische und freundliche Gastgeber!! Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!!

Perfekt für den Urlaub mit kleinen Kindern
Das Haus liegt ruhig im Dorfkern. Zum heiligen Bäcker und Supermarkt sind es nur ein paar Schritte. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und geräumig. Es gibt einen großen Garten mit Hochbeeten für Gemüse und viele Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder. Das Haus verfügt über eine große Terrasse, eine Waschmaschine und ein gut ausgestattetes Kinderzimmer.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus
Wir hatten eine schöne Woche im Schwedenchalet. Auch die Kinder haben sich sofort wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles vorhanden, sauber, gemütlich und der Kontakt vor Ort ist sehr nett.

Traumhaus für einen entspannten Urlaub
Wir haben im Sommer 2020 dort 2 Wochen Urlaub verracht und haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt. Das Haus bietet alles, was man als Familie so braucht. Die Betreuung durch die Vermieter war sehr herzlich und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder.
