The staff overall where great. Front staff women were great. The security guards friendly and helpful, room was kept clean, and the breakfast staff were excellent. Complimentary beer and water and snacks are a great service touch. I gave 3 stars vs 5 stars for the following despite all the positive feedback: 1) I never had hot water. It became warm aat the end of a 10 minute shower, there were ants on the coffee stand in my room, the hall carpets were visibly dirty. But even after 3 days at the hotel, a man at the front desk didnt, couldn't or wouldn't help with my request to extend my stay another 2 nights. I could book on Agoda but 2 separate rooms. I asked to stay in my same room as it would save cleaning time and effort and hassle for me to pack and repack so many times. Other customer's have booked so they get priority i was told. I already stayed 2 nights a d soon a 3rd, but rearranging a room to accommodate a current customer for already unoccupied rooms shouldn't be difficult, and telling me new customers are more important than me, already staying at the hotel was offensive. I never booked amd booked a new hotel in HCM city instead. Great stay until it wasn't, and why no hot water?

The room it’s OK but the common plan horrible. The carpet, the elevator, the stairs, the handrails old and filthy. The stairs from the rooftop to six floor to get to the elevator is stiff, dirty, sticky. You don’t want to touch the handrails while walking downthe stairs. The laundry in the laundry is very inefficient. we were puzzled how it gets a such high rating. The sink is extremely low and tiny. No hot water when shower.. We hope your experience staying in there is better than ours. Thank you checking out our review.

rooms were really clean and the beds super comfy. Complimentary beer and snacks was great. Found it really quiet and a great family sized room. Accidentally went to the wrong hotel to start with so be carefully your grab takes you to the right hotel.

My family loved our stay at the Hammock Hotel. Great location for visiting Ho Chi Minh. Roof top was fun and breakfasts were different every morning.

Pros: - breakfast in the morning - free laundry - free drinks (water, juice, beer) - location Cons: - the hotel stinks like a mixture between raw sewage, mold, and really intense air freshener that only makes it more unbearable; I felt ill if I stayed too long - they claim they have quiet hours from 11pm-7am, but this couldn’t be further from the truth; the sound proofing in the rooms is terrible; they allow guests to invite others from outside of the hotel to hang out on the roof at all hours, leading to large parties on the rooftop that can be heard all the way on the ground floor — I brought this to the attention of the one staff member working overnight, who told me the following: 1. People have different cultures, and it’s Aussie culture to drink and party all night long 2. He tried to tell them to go to sleep and they said they would (they didn’t) 3. Often guests invite others from outside of the hotel and it gets really noisy, but there’s nothing he can do While we were talking downstairs, multiple people came into the hotel (at 3:00am) to party on the rooftop. This is clearly a safety concern that staff aren’t willing to deal with. This is not a hotel, but a hostel that charges hotel prices. If you value clean air, safety, or being able to get a proper sleep, don’t waste your money. If you’re looking for a hostel environment, there are plenty other affordable hostels in the city to stay. This place is incredibly disappointing.

Great location with all major attractions walkable, many shops, restaurants and laundry places around. Safe area. Many massage spas around. Being in city center, can't avoid traffic noise but was acceptable. Clean room, comfortable bed. Double nest room i selected had very unusual layout and people with joint problems may be not easy to get in and out of bed. All amenities worked well. Free mini bar and pantry were useful. Terrace was nice and enjoyable. Free laundry also very helpful. I will stay again in future.

We loved our stay. V clean and convenient location in District 1. We walked everywhere, or grabbed a Grab car or scooter easily. Free laundry facilities was a huge plus for us on our extended travel. Great breakfast served on rooftop with view of Bitexco Tower. Delightful ice cream shop on first floor!! Super attentive staff. Highly recommend!!

Staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. I enormously appreciated the free laundry facilities as well as the free water, fruit teas, other beverages (especially milk for my night time tea) and noodles. This not only saved time but was super convenient. Breakfast was made to order on the rooftop terrace. I also found the location to be excellent - I managed to walk to all the attractions and restaurants. Would definitely return.
