Summary:
Beautiful, recently renovated and decorated period home just a few minutes walk to Salamanca and the wharf precinct.
The home offers many comforts to ensure a wonderful stay in Hobart, with two generous living areas, 6 large bedrooms and modern fully equipped kitchen. Additionally there are two stunning bathrooms, one with a free standing bathtub, and the other which has been designed for those with mobility issues.
There is parking for 2 vehicles, wifi and hotel quality linen on all beds

The Space:
Enjoy the spacious interiors, with an array of collectibles, which gives character and a welcoming feel to the home.
Bedding is of high quality and will provide excellent comfort to the guest
The private outdoor area at the back of the property includes a BBQ, a great space to enjoy time with your family or friends.
The house is ideal for large or extended families, several couples travelling together or colleagues travelling to Hobart for a business trip

Guest Access:
Guests have full use of the house for their enjoyment. We are not far away if you need us or have any questions.

The Neighborhood:
The house is in a fantastic position, just a short walk to many of Hobart's main tourist attractions, including Salamanca (markets on Saturday), the wharf precinct where the ferry to MONA departs from, museums,St Davids park is just around the corner, and some fantastic restaurants including The Drunken Admiral, serving award winning local seafood since 1979 in one of Hobart Town’s earliest waterfront warehouses and the famous Jackman and McRoss bakery a few minutes walk.

Getting Around:
Very easy to get around, and we suggest you go by foot to enjoy the history sights and smells of Hobart. If you wish to use public transport there's a bus service that runs along Sandy Bay Road, with a bus stop just a minute away

The upstairs bedrooms were very hot even with air conditioning in 2 of the 3 rooms. I understand that the weather was hotter than usual. The outside area could do with a good tidy-up. The wooden bench seats in some parts are very worn. A great central location enabled us to walk to lots of places, especially the harbour area. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend Hampden Manor to family and friends. Thank you🌸
