Room was spacious and house had big area to relax in and had a really nice kitchen and breakfast. Loved being able to use the washer and dryer AND the northern lights were right outside our window!

Really appreciated the cold breakfast in the morning, which we were not expecting. Also was great to use the laundry machines as this was the midpoint of our trip. The guesthouse is easy walking distance of several restaurants, which was nice after a long day of driving. And I loved sleeping in the nook in my economy twin room!

The host grew up in Hofn, which I thought was pretty neat! She was so friendly and was very knowledgeable about Iceland. The property was extremely clean and very modern. I highly recommend this place!

The host prepares breakfast for the next day every evening, so there’s a good chance you’ll see her and have a quick chat. The guest rooms are spacious, and the common areas are warmly decorated—it’s a cozy and homey place to stay. The host is very welcoming. Even before we arrived, she had already sent us a detailed introduction to the town, including gas stations, restaurants, supermarkets, and more.

This was up to now the best guesthouse we stayed at during our trip. Very clean. Rooms size are good. Breakfast was good and copious. The host was very nice and welcoming. We appreciated the opportunity to do laundry. Late check in was easy and well communicated before our arrival. We would definitely stay here again in a future trip. Hofn is a nice little town to stop and relax on your trip around yhe route 1.

We stayed here for one night. Check-in was easy. Our room had two twin beds, it was small, but enough room for our suitcases, and a desk. The shared area is just like a house with a decent sized and clean kitchen, and dining table and sofas to relax. She has laundry machines with detergent available, you pay by QR code, so nice and convenient. The upstairs bathroom is a good size, and shared with 3 rooms. Overall a nice stay. We would stay here again.

Tiny room with no space to maneuver. The shared bathroom had more square footage than our entire room. Access to a shared kitchen and living room was nice, i guess. Breakfast was included, but offering wasn't great. Recommend waking up early and going to Hafnarbudin nearby when it opens. Wifi speed was atrocious. Reminds me of dialup.
