We were very happy with our stay! Location was about a 20 minute walk into Prague 1. Overall lots of food options and great location. Staff were amazing! Definitely recommend the Sunday brunch:)

Very impressive hotel and great room, excellent bed and clean. Only gripe was the AirCon. You can’t control it in your room, it works same for all. Window open too noisy, but 22C first night eat too hot

Overall it was just Great! Only I wished there would be a kettle and fridge in the room! And at least one light that helps to see when you are getting ready in the evening. Bath tub option would be so appreciated! Plus side the Best bed ever and fantastic staffs across the board working very hard with a smile! Your efforts are appreciated and I m so looking forward to come back with my family! Thank you especially to Matěj at the reception such a lovey positive way of working! He was the best

Had an excellent stay at the mama Shelter hotel, great friendly staff nothing was too much trouble. Really fun hotel with lots to do, arcade games, pool tables etc A

Mama shelter is situated in an area away from the busiest part of Prague, but with a tram stop right outside your door and trams turning up every 10 minutes it's only a 15-20 minute ride into the heart of it all. The staff were awesome, the vibe they have going on there is great. The room we stayed in was just the basic one but the bed was huge and very comfortable, bathroom has what you need and the shower is great after a long day of walking. Only down side is the lack of storage area for your clothes if you're staying 5 days like we did ended up living out of our bag. Breakfast in the morning has a great selection to choose from so you won't get bored. The restaurant is open in the evenings as well if you don't manage to find something to eat anywhere else in Prague. In the lobby they have pool, football tables, loads of seating and best of all free pinball and retro arcade machines to play. They have an outside area as well which I can imagine would be great when it starts to warm up a bit. My partner and myself really enjoyed our time in Prague and knowing we got to come back each evening to Mama shelter made our trip even better, Mama says book this hotel and you'll be happy with your decision.

Great hotel. It is not near the old town but Uber was fairly affordable in Prague so no issues.
