The staff was very friendly and competent. The facility was in excellent condition because it is brand new. The room we had the first night was on the top floor and directly beneath the industrial fans that operate all of the bathroom exhaust fans, which are ALWAYS on. This room has no dampener against that, so that noise persisted all night. We were awake to verify that. We asked for a new room, and one was granted, but only AFTER the building engineer could verify the problem. That wasn't until 11am the following day.

On my top list to return to this hotel. Customer service was above and beyond particularly with Kane and Wiwinn who made fresh breakfast all around. Her egg white vege omelets was my fave. Even the oatmeal was always cooked properly and not watered. I always made a point of having breakfast knowing that she prepared it. Also, theres a manager's happy hour with side dishes. Well worth trying it. Hotel view was perfect. It's so open with all the trees and fresh grass. I hope the surrounding areas doesnt get overwhelmed with adding buildings. The open grass field was a treat for a walk. Most of all, seeing the biggest and beautiful US flag was a symbolic touch on the field. Highly recommend this hotel and location.Great environment. I do not know when it first opened, but it’s a brand new hotel. I went with my husband on Valentine’s Day weekend, and the front desk staff handed out complimentary hearts candies, which I was very impressed. It’s pretty much not around much, you will have to drive about 16-20 minutes out to the beach and things to do, but it’s worth it. The price was very reasonable. The complimentary breakfast was great-only thing is I wish it offered bacon. I will return to this hotel whenever I visit Fort Walton Beach.
