Leave your worries and your work shoes at home! The only essentials you will need are a swimsuit and a comfy pair of Flip Flops to be ready to relax and enjoy these 4 bedrooms plus a bunk room, 3 bath ocean view home, located near the heart of Surf City's finest dining and shopping.

Living and Dining:

The cathedral ceilings and large windows and sliding glass doors bring in the sunshine, creating a bright and inviting open concept living space. Gather in the comfortable living room and enjoy beverages served from the wet bar or catch up on your favorite movies. The kitchen is spacious, with a center island, providing plenty of room for meal prep and entertaining, while the dining table easily seats 10 around the expandable table. Need a little quiet corner? Check out the cozy window seat with its lovely view of the Intracoastal Waterway. It's the perfect size for some light reading or a child's nap.

This vacation home is located just one mile south of the high-rise bridge in Surf City. You'll be close to the central part of the island where most of the restaurants and shops are located. Be sure to visit our local attractions like the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital and the Missiles and More Museum, which showcases our Island's past.

Great time!

We had a really nice experience with Ward at Flip flops. The house was clean and welcoming. The only problem was that the garbage cans were full when we arrived.

We were overall happy with our stay other than the first floor AC going out and getting no response from Ward Realty about trying to get it fixed. Fortunately, the top floor AC was sufficient to cool the bottom floor reasonably well.

We love Topsail. It has been our vacation place for many years.

We have stayed at several different places over the years of vacationig on Topsial. Some spectacular and some bargain basement because of our budget at the time. I think that this year house sits right in the middle. Worked well for everyone but it could use some updates. But with that siad, we didn't come for the house, we came for the sun, sand and memories made with family and close friends. With some minor updates the house would be phenomenal. The location was great, and the house met all our needs But we are pretty simple people. We are already looking forward to next years visit to our favorite beach.

Great location, not small child friendly

We selected this house because of the claim there was a fenced in backyard in the description, however the yard was unusable and fence was severely damaged. It turns out when I reached out through VRBO this home was through and agency, not the homeowner and they suggested that in the future I use their website to book instead of VRBO - which was not very helpful. Overall - the house was much better than I had anticipated for the price - location is great and property is nicely kept and very clean. However, if you have small children, I would not recommend. The yard is unusable and the top porch is horrifying for children.

Very nice and clean place

The property was excellent and everything was clean. Everything that we needed was at the property. We only wished that every room had a tv. Definitely would recommend this property and using vrbo.com for booking. Check out was really early and we wanted to get a later check out time but never received a call back from management.

Great house! Great location

We really enjoyed the Flip Flops house. House was clean and cozy. Close to the beach access. My only complaint if I had to list one was that you don't have a power outlet on the ground level accessible by renters. Our golf cart couldn't be charged without running cords from the upstairs deck.

Nice beach house

The house was well maintained, clean and comfortable. We had great views of the ocean from the main living floor and deck. The yard was overgrown and not really usable but the beach access was very close and where we spent most of our time anyway. The area is quiet and full of families. The only drawback we found is that it was a bit too quiet for us. The beach lovers in the family could've stayed another week, others became a little bored and would've liked more activity off the beach.
