This quiet & spacious 4 bedroom, 3 bath (+outdoor shower) family & dog friendly beach home has everything to make your stay at the beach comfy & memorable. Please mention any animals when requesting your stay.

The property is freshly decorated throughout with the most comfortable beds you’ll find. Listen to the waves roll onto the shore as you relax sitting seaside with ocean views without the full force of the ocean wind. Nestled at the end of Topsail Drive, this home won’t have traffic drowning out the ocean sounds. It is literally a 40 second stroll from the private gate down to the soft sands of Topsail Island - there are no roads to cross. Located less than 1 mile away from the shops & restaurants in downtown Surf City, the location of this home has it all!

Pull up in the driveway and you’ll be greeted with this home’s green landscaping. There is open parking for up to 6 vehicles. This home is made for family gatherings. A picnic table, stainless steel park style charcoal grill, gas grill, & an enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower are located outside on the ground level. The direct beach access is located off the ground level deck. It’s landscaped for privacy.

Step inside the entrance from the carport & this home shines with charming beachy décor where surfboards set the stage for a magical coastal escape. The foyer has storage space for shoes, keys, beach chairs & other personal items.

Make your way up a few stairs & set your luggage down in 1 of the 3 bedrooms. There’s a queen bed in the ‘fishing room,’ & double-bunks in the kids’ ‘boat room.’ The Master Bedroom at the end of the hall is the ‘turtle room' and is a spacious oasis with a king size bed, a desk with a monitor, mouse & keyboard, dresser, & a Bose radio/alarm clock. This bedroom has a private bathroom, complete with large tub & separate shower. All bedrooms have comfy beds & smart flat screen TVs & DVD players. There is a ceiling fan in most bedrooms with the exception of the bunk bedroom. All Bedrooms have ocean views & sliding glass doors to access the deck which features a porch swing and various chairs & tables. In the hallway is a large shared bathroom with double sinks, full size shower/tub combination, & brightly colored beach décor. The laundry room is also located on this level.

Walk up the stairs to the ‘surf shack’ and you’ll notice the open floor plan is great for gathering multiple generations or several families. The living room offers a smart Flat Screen TV, DVD player, blue tooth speaker, ceiling fans & plenty of space for everyone to stretch out. Additional seating for 3 is found at the kitchen bar along with the additional 3 chairs at the high table next to the beautiful bay window in the living room. There is also a large dining room with seating for 6. This is the perfect area for a meal with a view or for one of the available puzzles or games (provided) on a lazy afternoon. Ample seating throughout this space ensures a relaxing space to spend your time while not on the beach.

The kitchen allows for plenty of space for preparing meals and a well-stocked kitchen to make cooking easy. The bright kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities you enjoy at home. Amenities include a refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, built-in microwave, blender, traditional coffee maker, Keurig, tea pot, toaster and more.

Also, on this level, the 4th bedroom features a king bed & opens to a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with a shower/tub combination. Guests can also access this bathroom from the upstairs hallway. Sliding glass doors from the bedroom & living room lead to the 3rd floor balcony filled with many rocking chairs & a picnic table for relaxing and enjoying views, soft breezes, & ocean sounds. This covered deck enjoys late afternoon/evening shade & is a great spot to sit, watch the surf, & enjoy a drink.

The Nauti Surf Shack is located in the heart of Topsail Island so you have a wide array of close entertainment opportunities! Dozens of local restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. And don’t forget about the beautiful Surf City Ocean Pier. This pier has been photographed millions of times, & you’ll enjoy watching the surfers that swarm the area. Our location offers you a respite from the busy city environment. Surf City is easily reached on foot or bike. All within a short distance of places like Surf City Steamers, Santinos, Beauchaines, Daddy Mac's, Buddy's Crab House, Surf City Pier, Shaka Taco, unWINEd, Island Delights ice-cream, hotdogs, bars, boutiques, coffee shops, sky bridge, surf shops, grocery stores, & sushi. Herring's Outdoor Sports is just a block away and offers bike, kayak, surfboard, game rentals, & more!

We are just minutes to the Turtle Hospital & just a few miles away from Holly Ridge, Hampstead, & Sneads Ferry. Wilmington and the famous Wrightsville Beach are a bit longer drive, but worth it. You can be there in about 40 minutes.

This Nauti Surf Shack rents weekly from Saturday to Saturday for 7 nights during Spring Break, holidays & the Summer months. All other times there is a 4 night minimum but contact us for other schedule deviations. We will see what we can do!

Linens are provided (sheets, kitchen and bath towels). Beach towels are not included.

PETS
*Up to 2 well behaved, full grown, house broken dogs (only), SMALL TO MEDIUM SIZED, are permitted with owner's approval. Please tell us about your doggies before booking. There is a non-refundable $200 pet fee. An additional pet fee of $100 is charged for a 2nd dog. Either dog must be approved prior to booking. Send pictures & a brief description of the dogs (we love pictures of doggies!). Fees will be added onto the booking & a separate rental contract will be sent for the dogs.

*Our home has an outdoor security camera located in carport area covering entrance of home & another located on the outside of the upper deck facing the ocean.

*We do not rent to vacationing students or singles under 26 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of rental money & the party will not be permitted to check-in.
*No third-party bookings.
*Maximum occupancy is 10 at any time. Please be sure we have received complete payment within 30 days of your arrival to avoid cancellation.

We DO recommend you buy separate travel insurance (non VRBO) when booking your trip. Before you’re even able to finish packing your sunscreen & swimsuits, an unforeseen circumstance could force cancellation—for instance, you become ill or a family member dies. Separate travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage will reimburse the prepaid, nonrefundable costs of your trip in these kinds of situations. Furthermore, if you, a family member or a travel companion becomes sick or is injured while traveling, the outside policy’s trip cancellation feature typically would reimburse you for the unused part of the trip. The trip cancellation benefit could even kick in if you, a family member or a travel companion dies while traveling.

People who don’t like the hot season will love the winter at the coast of North Carolina. It’s chilly at the beach but not too cold. The weather is beautiful, & a lot milder than in New York or other Eastern states

The rent is cheaper when you stay longer. There are no hidden fees. The rent includes your utilities, TV & high-speed internet as well. The home is fully furnished. You don’t need to bring much -just your clothes, PJs, toothbrush, food & drink.
