The best part was the location, great beach access, and close proximity to food/coffee and shops in Surf City. Pet friendly. The room was not clean. Sheets were questionable, comforter stained, and no mattress protector. The AC vents were lined with matted dust. The bathroom had blood or make up on the wall which I cleaned off with sani-wipes. I ended up wiping everything with wipes, table, side table, counter, sink, etc. A dust bin with broom was left outside the door which I thought was odd but ended up sweeping the floor upon entry. Outside area had pet hair, coffee grounds, fishing line. We had to wait 30 minutes after 3pm check in time to receive check in code, not sure if that was VRBO or what was going on.

We had a wonderful 2 day escape to The Bungalow!!! The property matches the photos and more. The grill and hang out area is perfect for hanging out after a day at the beach. We enjoyed the complimentary bikes biking to downtown Surf City for some afternoon fun. The Beach Access is private with an amazing patio to hang out on. We watched the sun rise from the beach patio and just perfect!Some great local visits

and a fun Brewery about 10 minutes was Topsail Brewery where they have great Beer mini golf on site and it looks military owned. Add a perfect lunch from Ricks!!Great couples escape!!!

Quick Getaway

Our stay was in late April so not many people/noise next door. Great location right on the beach! Room was good for a weekend stay. I wouldn’t stay there much longer than that because it’s smaller than it looks in the pictures. The room could use a refresh (paint, decor, curtains) and the mattress was a little uncomfortable. Overall good trip and may do another weekend in a 2nd floor room.

The place was clean, close to everything we wanted. Would have liked a larger fridge to store food so not eat out a lot and have water, soda and tea .From the beginning and through our staff our contacts were awesome .

Bungalows at Surf City

This was a great place. I have no complaints what so ever...The location was the best. The Surf City Line Bar and restaurant was excellent. The short walk to the Beach was wonderful. Highly recommend this place.

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, restaurants, and the overall location! The space was clean, comfortable, and the host provided all the little amenities that make a stay pleasant (including puppy treats for our little fur-baby!).
