Sands of Time is a newly built 6 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom vacation home located less than two blocks from the white sand beaches in the heart of AMI. The home sleeps 12 and is the perfect choice for a multiple family vacation! The home is professionally decorated to create the perfect luxury beach atmosphere! High-speed internet and Spectrum TV will keep you connected, or choose to escape from it all on the four private decks, tropical pool, or on a beach bike ride with the 4 adult cruisers. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the amenities of home. High capacity washer and dryer are located on the main floor to clean those sandy swimsuits.
This house is conveniently located on Holmes Blvd, providing a quiet retreat located in the heart of the island. The home is centrally located with access to the charm of the Pine Ave shops and easy to access shops, restaurants, bars and activities. The AMI trolly has a stop less than a block from the house!
The private heated pool, spa and waterslide are sure to be a hit with the whole family. The patio area is newly updated with a bar, bar seating, lounge chairs, large dining area, outdoor shower and a stainless steel grill. The covered lanai, next to the pool, offers ample seating and the perfect place to watch the game on the outdoor tv. In the evening, the backyard becomes a topical oasis with lit palms and outdoor lighting. Need a break from the beach? Enjoy the arcade game, ping pong or one of the ample yard games!
The Sands of Time offers 6 newly decorated bedrooms, each with a smart flatscreen TV. 4 bedrooms have king beds, one bedroom has two twin beds and one bedroom offers two sets of bunks- the perfect place for a kids sleepover! Three kings have en suite bathrooms and three have private balconies!
This property also provides 4 adult bikes and many beach amenities - 2 beach carts, several beach chairs, toys, floaties, skim boards and beach umbrella.

Nice house in close to beach location with great pool

The house was a great accommodation but pool was a huge hit with kids. Well heated during cooler than usual week making it a magnet for kids. Close proximity to beach a real plus.

We loved this house. Great location, well maintained and had everything we needed. Unfortunately, our stay was cut short due to Hurricane Helene. We would definitely consider renting this house in the future.

We had an absolute great time!! House was clean and comfortable! We rode out a tropical storm and felt very safe, we could barely tell there was a storm going on outside! House is very well built. The pool and game were perfect!

Great place

Had our kids and grand kids join us for spring break. The house was wonderful for a big group. Good walking distance to the beach. Lots of beach towels. Extra fridge in garage was very helpful. Be sure to bring your own supplies
 detergents, garbage bags spices etc. there is nothing stocked there. Very clean and great place to stay

Sands of Time Did Not Disappoint

Property exceeded our expectations. Very clean, furnishings were comfortable and location was good. Only issue was that the pool lights did not work and the hot tub jets worked now and then. Beach House was contacted but no one showed up to look at the problem.

Beautifully designed home that needs some attention

We eagerly anticipated our family of 12 enjoying AMI after our week in Captiva was cancelled due to Ian. The pool was in bad shape and pool service spent just 5-10 min on Tuesday but promised to do a thorough job later. Friday Morning the Pool was so murky, I called rental agent who said they would be there for sure later that day. At 9pm our 6 grandchildren were still waiting!! Also filter on refrigerator water dispenser needs changed. We were unable to access cold filtered water from refrigerator. The pots and pans (very low end teflon) were scratched and most unusable. Also there was no dish soap (most homes a small bottle, and only 5 spoons for a home sleeping 12-14. Only a small 1/2 roll of toilet paper in each bath, no dishwasher detergent, and the garbage cans had not been taken to curbside by the previous renters and the smell so close to the pool area was putrid. For $11, 000 we expected so much more. We will not be returning to AMI again.

Wonderful place

The house was perfect for our family of 12, 8 adults 4 children. Very clean and lots of space. The pool and slide were great. All the beach gear was very helpful. A 1.5 block walk to the beach. It was perfect!! We had a small issue with the shower draining in one bathroom. I called the rental office and it was fixed promptly while we were at the beach, they were very accommodating.

Love the house - could use some TLC

We stayed with 12 guests and it’s the perfect location - close to the beach and downtown! The kids loved the pool but we did need to call to get it shocked and cleaned as it was cloudy when we got there. The property could also use a deep clean - floors were not clean and the windows/doors were dirty. We also noticed the mattresses weren’t the best and couldn’t use the grill because of an unknown substance in it
 If the property manager addresses my concerns- it would be the perfect property and we would definitely stay here again!

Great Location

Our group of 12 had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and easily accommodated all of us The beach is fantastic. The upstairs bedrooms are too warm and the downstairs are too cold We frequently ran out of hot water with some cold showers. The freezer worked great but the fridge is too warm. The pool was dirty and the pool heater did not work until it was serviced. The washer and dryer were awesome All in all it was good but some issues that need attention

Amazing vacation house!

Renting this house was an excellent experience! My children and grandchildren, friend, and I stayed a week and loved it! Location is excellent- only a short block to the beach. The pool area was private and exceptional with a pool slide, a bathroom, a bar, an outdoor shower, ample furniture, etc. We enjoyed BBQing and eating by the pool. Lots of beach chairs, wagons, a rolling cooler and toys available to use. 5 bikes available- we loved early morning bike rides! Inside was clean, with a fully stocked kitchen including spices, extra beach towels and comfortable beds. Zoned HVAC added to the comfort. Only issue was a broken ignitor on the BBQ pit and it was fixed the same day a request was made. Would definitely recommend!!

Location location

We are such huge fans of the north side of Anna Maria Island and this spot hits perfectly on that. The rooms were nicely sized and very clean. Upstairs master is a little warm but that is being really picky. Screendoors would be an amazing upgrade to the sliding glassdoors (more of a suggestion than a complaint). We would 100% stay again and we are already discussing staying the same week in 2022.

Everything was perfect except the beds

We absolutely loved the house, especially the outdoor living space! My only word of advice would be, fix the beds. They were ungodly loud. Every time you roll over, it would wake up the entire house. We had our 18 month old sleeping in his pac n play in our room & he woke up everytime we moved. Needless to say, sleeping was less than enjoyable but other than that everything was perfect!
