Welcome to Bamboo Apartments, Apartment #2, part of our family-owned five-unit beachfront retreat featured in Southern Living Magazine (Jan/Feb 2020). If you're looking for a meticulously maintained, super clean, simple, quiet, Old Florida-style getaway with unbeatable beach access, you've found it.

Nestled on nearly an acre of pristine beachfront, our property offers 150 feet of private sugar sand beach front with six expansive, uncrowded patios—no busy streets to cross, no stairs to climb, and no crowded hallways. And, if you’ve forgotten something, it’s a quick hop back to your apartment to retrieve it. Perfect when traveling with “littles.”

Wake up to garden and beach views in this newly renovated, ground-level one-bedroom, one-bath apartment with full kitchen. A short stroll through the wildflower meadow leads you straight to the beach, where gentle Gulf breezes and breathtaking sunsets await.

Wonderful Getaway

My husband and I spent a few days in Anna Maria and absolutely loved this little gem right on the beach. It was quiet, spotless, and the perfect place to unwind and soak up the sun. Alice, the host, is a third-generation owner and it’s clear she puts her heart into making this a special place. We felt so welcomed and at home. We’ll definitely be back!

Great place to stay on Anna Maria Island

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bamboo Apt 2. It was a challenge trying to find a one bedroom/one bath place to stay, but this fit our needs perfectly. The owner, Alice, is a wonderful hostess and a pleasure to talk to. We were greeted with a welcoming sign on the door and a lovely gift basket inside. Highly recommend.

wonderful place!

We stayed in apartment #2. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the island so easy to walk or bike to either end. The beach which is expansive and lovely for long walks and sun sets is just steps from the place. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. Alice was wonderful as a host with quick communication. It was a perfect place to stay!

Amazing! I will be back!

The place was just as pictured and described. I felt like I was in my own beautiful, peaceful place or home— not a busy, loud resort. I enjoyed so much watching the wildlife— Kingfishers, Pelicans, Hawks, Sandpipers, squirrels. The plants and trees create a beautiful haven there. It was so convenient to have beach chairs and umbrella handy for the short walk to the gorgeous beach in your backyard. The accommodations were clean and homey, like visiting a friend (who happens to live in paradise)!
