Large 1 bedroom 1 bath with Sauna

This one bedroom downstairs suite has a private entrance and sauna. It is located below our main house so there will be a bit of noise from above.

Located 4.5 miles out East End road, you are 10 minutes from downtown, the airport and Homer Spit.

Unit completed in 2021 with a big kitchen, living room and bedroom. The bedroom has a queen size, comfortable bed and in the large living room there is a trundle bed with a twin mattress and pull out mattress below.

Traveling with kids? We can provide pack n play, toys, high chair, car seats, kids wagon and more.

This one bedroom unit in the basement of our home with completely separate outside entrance. Huge bedroom, bathroom and main living space that includes a full kitchen and sitting area. TV with streaming services - netflix, hulu, Disney + and YouTube TV. Not pictured is a full laundry room with washer and dryer. You also have access to a commercial vacuum packer for all your fishing needs and deep freezer where you can store your fish until your departure.

Must be dog friendly! We have super friendly pups who might say hello when you arrive.

This unit is completely private and yours to use. We live upstairs so please know that there will be a bit of noise and foot traffic above.

There is a huge fire pit outside that can be used by guests if it is not in use. Feel free to ask when booking and we will make it available.

Note: please do not process or store fish inside the unit outside of already cleaned fillets in proper storage containers. Processing or improper storage of fish will result in a $250 cleaning fee.

We spent 6 nights here. It is well equipped and and about a 5 minute drive to Homer. Owners live upstairs and are very good to deal with. Really enjoyed our stay.

The perfect weekend

Shannon and her husband were so accommodating. The property was gorgeous with an amazing view of the bay. I love how the property was tucked in at the end of the road and super secluded. Next time I make the trip down to homer I'll planning my stay around this places availability.

The apartment is nicer than it looks online, very comfortable for four people. The sauna was roomy and easy to use, the kitchen and dining table made meal prep easy. The only problem was the steps to the front door - they are slippery when it is wet and there is not a railing. We had a guest who had just had knee surgery and she worried she might fall. Once we made it down the stairs we were happy as clams

What a view!

Wonderful accommodations in the basement of a family home. Clean and well equipped. Close to Homer Spit. There *is* noise that comes from upstairs due to it being part of an occupied residence, but I didn’t find it bothersome. Lovely and accommodating host. Recommend!
