Finger Lakes Cottage

Came with my husband, daughter and her BF because my son and his family rented a cottage a few streets away and we all have dogs so needed the space. The home is lovely. Comfortably designed with multiple living spaces so you can have more than 1 movie or tv show playing in the evening or on a rainy afternoon. Small deck to kick back on and grill up a steak. Modern kitchen has everything you need to prepare food. (Bring your own condiments but it has a nice spice rack!) King size bed in 1 room and a queen (I think) in the other. Extra pillows and blankets galore. A stake set in concrete to attach a run for your furry family. The lake and little sandy beach is at the end of the street attached to a very nice park and playground and the little streets have a very friendly community as we walked our dogs. Not cottage related but FYI
 you plan on ordering pizza from the very tasty pizzeria on the main road 2 minutes away, order wayyyy in advance as Friday night order took 2 hours with pick up. (Crust average, sauce & toppings delicious, wings could have been crispier but sauce was very good) Very much looking forward to a repeat week next summer if our schedules all align.

Nice walk to the Lake

I loved early morning walks by the lake and through the lovely group of cottages. In the evening we could see the stars even right from our patio. We used the grill and enjoyed our restful stay.

Great Lake house

We came to Honeoye Lake for a family vacation with our kids and dogs! It was a very spacious lake house. We had a few visitors stop by each day and everyone had room to do their own activities. Easy walk to the park/beach down the street. We also brought our boat and parking was available (if the boat is longer than 18ft may be more difficult). The property manager was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Lots of amenities, provided laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, coffee pods, etc. We really did not need to bring anything extra with us. We would recommend this house for anyone wanting a relaxing lake house vacation!
