Such a great place to stay. Kitchen very well equipped, ocean views, comfortable bed, excellent location. We were able to see whales and turtles almost every day while sitting on the lanai.

Pictures and reviews of the property, as well as its proximity to the ocean, were spot on. No regrets whatsoever and would always look to rebook here. I mean, you have what ends up being essentially your own private beach every day. You swim with the turtles. The A/C in both the living room and bedroom were downright chilly they worked so well. Great kitchen, nice counter space and shower in bathroom, walking distance to a few restaurants and food trucks. We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to return someday!

A gem in West Maui

My husband & I stayed in West Maui for the first time, celebrating our 19th anniversary. We've stayed in several VRBO's in Maui & Oahu but Kaleialoha 410 is by far the best! Pretty accurate description of the unit, w/ updated warm furnishings & decor. The bdrm has plenty of room although the hanging space for clothes could be a bit bigger, but also has a nice dresser. We love to cook some meals in & not have to go out for 3 meals a day, & the kitchen is well equipped w/ plenty of utensils, plasticware, good selection of pots/pans & good, sharp knives! We clicked on this unit because of the close proximity to the water, even though this property doesn't have it's own beach (just step over to the neighbouring property & use their steps) & with the correct timing of the tide, a very enjoyable beach. They call this area Turtle Expressway for a reason...every day we had at least 5 big green sea turtles cruising by in mid morning. This property has a lift so it came in very handy w/ this unit on the 4th (top) fl. Also, the A/C in both the LR & bdrm worked just fine & was pretty quiet although in mid-April, you can leave the patio door open at night & get lulled asleep by the waves...'cuz the screen door seals well & is sturdy! The owners have a thorough Guest Info book & the best-ever guide book in the unit, Maui Revealed, by Andrew Doughty...a very entertaining & funny but accurate travel guide of the good, bad & ugly of Maui...at least he's honest! The only comments we had, while on site, was the outdated main photo on the VRBO listing...I actually took a fabulous photo & emailed into MBR. The newer all grassy area out along the lava sea wall is lovely w/ plenty of lounge chairs & dining tables. At least 3 out of 4 gas grills worked just fine. We loved the location in Honokowai area, just a little North of the many resort hotels of Ka'anapali...just 7 minutes North of Ka'anapali Kai Golf Course & 10 minutes up to Kapalua. We did the coast road all the way up to the Olivine Pools which was a bit curvy but lovely scenic drive on a great paved 2 lane road. We will return as soon as possible!

Exceptional Location to View Neighboring Islands and Waters

We enjoyed a week in December turing Maui, and especially watching whales surface in the waters between the islands. The balcony gave us exceptional view for whale watching, sea turtles, boats and the occasional rainbows. Condo was beautiful, nicely decorated and very comfortable.

The property was lovely and in a great location only 15 minutes from Lahiana. You could not beat the ocean and sunset views from our room not to mention the turtles we cold see from our balcony. Our only complaints would be that the A/C unit is in the living room and did not reach the bedroom, maybe stocking a few extra fans in the closets for tenants that need them? Also the elevator was pretty sketchy we used the stairs a lot. But overall it was a pleasant stay.

Overall this condo was great. It was a great view and it was awesome to hear the ocean waves crashing against the shore. The condo itself was nice and clean. The only setback was that we were not able to use the lanai because there were pigeon droppings all over the rug. The pigeons would hang out on our lanai as well. But overall, the condo was great. A great neighborhood and easy access to the beach. Close to Kaanapali Beach and close to shops and restaurants.

This place made our trip! Stayed five fabulous nights at the Fairmont, but kind of missed this condo. The view is unbelievable. You are on top of the ocean. Sea turtles swim by every day at 2pm for about an hour. I was waist deep and a foot away from one! Fall asleep to the ocean at night. Best views we had on Maui. Essentially a private beach. Great neighborhood with places like Ohana tacos. UNPRETENTIOUS. Pool is like a warm bath. Unbeatable. And good lord, it is SPOTLESS. Would give ten stars. Thank you for unforgettable start to our trip!!!

The view was spectacular

The view was awesome. We whaled watched from our balcony lanai. Our only complaint is there is no beach and no rice cooker but other than that we’d stay here again. The pool was cold but we had it to ourselves majority of the time. There was a lot of mosquitoes so make sure you have OFF bug spray. I loved how close the condo was to everything. It was walking distance to the beach and to the park which the kids loved. We woke up to whales jumping and dolphins spinning. It was beautiful. It was rough to snokel though but we saw turtles and even caught a glimpse of flying fish all from our lanai. There is no air conditioning in the bedroom though. The condo was equipped to cook all your meals. They have starter dish soap, dishwasher soap, paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags. You do need to purchase more after a few days. The only seasoning they provide is salt and pepper and seasoned salt. Please be sure to buy your own or bring your own seasoning. Other than that my kids, my husband and I absolutely loved it. We would definitely book again. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. Thank you!

Great location, great condo!

The view from the lanai is fantastic. There are 2 other islands that you see along with the beautiful Pacific. We were fortunate to see whales from it! The inside is spacious, comfortable and well furnished. You are close to Lahaina and all it has to offer. We had a great stay here.

The condo itself is beautiful and spacious, but with a comfortable homey feeling. Walk out onto the Lanai and there is the gorgeous ocean below you. I loved having a washer and dryer in the bathroom.

VIEWS and SUNSETS

The good: 1. Views and sunsets! 2. Convenient location: close to beaches, food, supermarket 3. No resort fees, no parking fees (which can be $50/day at some resorts) 4. All the conveniences of home: washer/dryer, stocked kitchen 5. Small quiet building with friendly guests/residents The bad: 1. One small window AC in living room which did not cool bedroom 2. Limited storage for your things. The bedroom closet had the water heater, vacuum, 2 boxes of aerobeds, standing fan, box fan and little room for your clothes. The dresser had 6 drawers, 4 of which contained extra pillows. Positives far outweigh negatives. Good value for your money. This is our fifth trip to Maui in about 7 years and we have stayed a variety of places and we would definitely stay here again, but not during the summer (we where here in early October and the heat and humidity was tolerable).

The perfect place to stay on Maui

We stayed here for a week with our granddaughters 6 and 13 and highly recommend it. Clean, up to date and well stocked. It is on a beautiful spot on the beach with nice calm swimming and a good reef off shore with abundant sea life. We all had a great time.

Most amazing condo ever!!!

First of all let me apologize for writing a review so late :) The room was amazing from the moment I set foot inside. The breathtaking view hits you right in the face as soon as you walk in. My jaw just dropped to the ground. I did a little bit of research before going and stopped at a couple of grocery stores on my way to the condo. Let me just say the kitchen has EVERYTHING you will need to make anything you want. I cooked every day...yes a man cook ladies ;) haha. Just a heads up with the coffee pot!! i barely touched it and it broke :( just my luck lol. If you go please take some steaks as well because the BBQ area is amazing, no matter if it's day or night. I think I cooked steaks three nights out of the 5 I stayed there because I couldn't get enough of the BBQ area. The view is amazing!!! I was regretting not taking anything for the beach but they also have everything you need!! You literally just have to go there with your clothes and you'll be set. Internet was very good and I don't know anything about cable TV because I watched none of it during my stay. Trust me guys, you will not be disappointed with this condo. I don't know when but I'm definitely going back to this place.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay! For 15 nights we enjoyed the most spectacular view and super comfortable condo. The furnishings were pretty and the perfect size for two people.We slept so well...comfortable bed and no issues with noise from neighbors or anything else. Many of the amenities (towels, extra blankets, pillows etc...) were provided for us by the owners and the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, bake ware and dishes. We were in walking distance from most of the places we frequented.

A gem of a condo

My husband and I looked through quite a few units when we were deciding where to stay for our vacation. After much hemming and hawing we decided on this unit. Wow. There's always some trepidation when it comes to these choices, but all that went away as soon as arrived. The unit was just what we wanted. I will never forget the view from our lanai. Some unbelievable sunsets. The resort was quiet and clean, just like our unit. From cable TV to kitchen supplies, we had everything we needed. Thank you for providing us fantastic accommodations.

Honeymoon vacation

We have been to Maui several times since being married....but haven't stayed in a condo since we were first married...over 30 years ago! The view from this room is truly breathtaking. Breakfast on the Lanai was an amazing way to start each day, sharing the view with each other rather than a hundred of our "closest friends" at one of those hotel breakfast deals. We went on an awesome snorkel trip to Honolua Bay, paddle boarded and toured the Island but one of our favorite things was watching so many Sea Turtles from our own Lanai! In the evening, the sunsets from the balcony are magnificent! We loved opening the sliding door at night and listening to the waves from the top floor. Not too loud but just enough to relax us. The room was VERY nice and the kitchen is first-rate. This is a very well kept condo resort. Every day we said, 'Today was the most awesome day! One of our BEST weeks of our 30 yrs! Thank you so much!!!' Brenda and Jerry
