Welcome to Papakea! Located between the Kaanapali and Kapalua world-class golf resorts and minutes from shops, museums, restaurants, and galleries in nearby Lahaina and Whalers Village. Papakea is a 13-acre oceanfront resort with the true aloha spirit of Maui.

There are two private pools, two Jacuzzis, direct beachfront access, a cabana, three lighted tennis courts, two shuffleboard courts, two 18-hole putting greens, Koi ponds, lush gardens, and 12 outdoor barbecues. The resort also has an Activity Desk. For the sports enthusiast, the golf courses of Kapalua and Kaanapali are nearby, as well as great snorkeling and boogie-boarding. Or take your time walking along the miles of soft, sandy beaches.

Our second-floor, 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo is directly oceanfront with a private lanai in the sought-after 'L' Building. Nothing but blue sky and ocean! One of the rare 2-bedroom/2-bathroom units where the Master Bedroom faces the ocean. The unit is air-conditioned and also has ceiling fans in all the bedrooms. We offer free wireless Internet access. Sip a cocktail on the lanai and enjoy the beautiful views of the neighboring islands of Lanai and Molokai. Parking is conveniently located near the building, and both the elevator and stairs are nearby.

The living area features ample seating, as well as satellite TV, a VCR/DVD player, and a stereo with a CD player. There is a table with seating for four on the private lanai. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, microwave, and coffee maker. The unit also has its own washer and dryer.

As renters ourselves for years, we have drawn on our experiences to think of everything possible to make your stay comfortable. The oceanfront master bedroom features a king-size bed and ample dresser and closet space. It offers a full ocean view, and the bathroom features a shower/tub and a separate vanity area.

The second bedroom features two full-sized beds and ample closet space. The bathroom features a 3x3 foot sit-down tub with a shower (ideal for bathing the kids) and a separate vanity area.

There is a queen-sized pull-out sofa in the living room for extra guests.

All linens, including beach towels, are provided.

The State of Hawaii requires us to post our Department of Taxation Registration number, which is W50156142-01. Our on-island contact is Maui Rentals and Realty, LLC, located at 1087 Limahana Pl., Lahaina. Please do not contact them for booking.

Great condo in a great location.

Had a great time staying at this condo with my family. Location is great. The complex is large, but it never felt crowded. It was really quiet. We had groups above, below, and next to us and we never heard them. We saw turtles out front swimming and beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Condo was well stocked and had everything we needed. Within walking distance from restaurants and groceries. We did have an issue that we needed to contact the property manager. She was quick to respond and took care of the issue quickly. Highly recommended this condo.

Breathtaking View of the ocean from our lanai and master bedroom!!

This condo was perfect for our family of 7. It had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. Excellent location...close to shopping and gorgeous beaches. Loved the pool area and grounds! We were blown away by the number of whales we saw daily off our lanai!! It was an awesome home away from home! Mahalo!

The condo is great for a family of six. Plenty of space and a wonderful lanai to sit and watch the ocean. Convenient to food trucks, coffee shop, snorkel rental and restaurants. Check in was easy. Would definitely stay there again.

Great oceanfront vacation!

We had a wonderful 5 days at papakea resort L202! The views are spectacular. Breathtaking views from the main living room and master bedroom. So we ended up largely just staying at the apartment and the kids just played in the grass below or walked out to the beach or pool while we enjoyed our sunsets on the lanai. The pictures are quite accurate, place is clean, kitchen very well equipped for a family to cook meals as needed. Pool supplies and towels plenty. Elevator access was helpful as we had an elderly parent. Resort itself was a good environment family friendly and peaceful. Times supermarket is just walking distance and a farmers market as well. Eating places close by also walking distance. Breakfast at slappy cakes are a must try! The host was very responsive to my questions and clarifications and lot of helpful tips. It was a magical time, still hung over from waking up to the gorgeous ocean views and sounds! Would love to go right back if we went again.

Perfect Rental

I can’t say enough about this wonderful condo. The views are beautiful, the furniture is comfortable, and the property has a lot of fun amenities. This condo is so well supplied! Lots of beach gear (umbrella, beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler, towels) and the kitchen is the most well stocked I’ve ever seen in a rental. It was the perfect place to stay while we explored Maui.

Annual trip to Maui

This was a hard trip for us with the devastating fire and so much loss in Lahaina this year. We both felt like we had a peaceful place to just relax and enjoy Maui! We loved being able to just sit on the lanai of our beautiful rental and enjoy the water and whales! (We didn't miss any sunsets!) We loved the pool and beautiful walkway along the beach. Everything we needed was included in the kitchen and it made cooking easier. Mahalo! We hope to book your place again!

Perfect family vacation

Wonderful condo, exactly as promised

This condo helped us have a wonderful vacation for my family of four. The location was unbeatable, the condo was clean and well-stocked, the property owner was friendly and responsive, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We’d be happy to stay there again some day.

Perfect Maui Vacation!

This condo was perfect for our family trip to Maui! It was clean, well stocked and had everything we needed. It even had a good selection of beach toys, chairs, snorkel gear and towels! Bonus that it had a small cooler we could use to go to the beach. The pool and hot tub were perfect for the rainier days when the beach wasn’t suitable for swimming. We would definitely recommend this condo!

Fantastic view from the lanai!

Nice condo with lots of supplies and pretty well equipped with anything you need while in Maui. We were entertained daily by the whales performing in the ocean. Such a great view which included evening sunsets. It was a nice feature to have the two bedrooms separated and each couple had a bathroom to themselves. The grounds were nice and we enjoyed the putting greens and pools.
