Bedbugs bedbugs BEDBUGS! If you like getting up at 1:00 am, 2:00 am and 3:00 am, to scratch bites, then this hotel may be for you. I'd post pictures of my bites but this is not a peep show. I am trying to think as the bites as temporary tattoos. Itchy, red tattoos that remind me of my stay at Ohia. I endured mommy and daddy (Ohia and Expedia) shift responsibility to eachother. But I was stuck since the hotel/Ohau was full. To Ohia's credit, they moved me another room the next day. I tried to continue sleeping in the first room (big mistake). I would have been better off sleeping with the homeless outside. The second room resulted in only 2 to 3 bites a night for the remainder of my stay. All and all, not bad. I received a coupon from Expedia and Ohia was going to eliminate the resort fee for a night (I think Ohia forgot to credit me). If you decide to stay at the Ohia, bedbug spray is only $11 @ home depot. You can spray your luggage and your clothes will smell like insecticide.

Overall our stay at Ohia Waikiki Suite was really enjoyable. Everything was walkable which made it easier for us to get around without having to drive around too much. The staff members were really really kind and helpful always attentive to us and our needs. The place might not be as flash as other hotels but we really enjoyed our stay in Ohia. I would stay there again.

This property was dirty and small, the bathroom had pealing paint holes in the walls and it was musty. On Expedia they rate this place as a 6.6. The true rating should be stay at your on risk. The carpet was filthy and worn. We stayed in room 1794 and it was horrific. What Expedia doesn’t tell you is there is a $45.00 a night parking fee and a $29.00 resort fee. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy, that would be cruel and unusual punishment. Shame on you Expedia for sending someone to this dump. Please be careful if you stay here.

It was the only hotel that can take up to 6 people in one room, and you can’t beat the price.. The staff are amazing have a lot of patience dealing with customers. The house keeping lady is amazing at her job making sure we have everything we need..

It was in the heart of everything, but a little too old and bathroom was not cleaned properly. But staff was friendly and helpful!
