Suite 500 has everything you are looking for in a Waikiki studio - full bathroom with shower and tub, full size, 'induction counter top' burner and microwave. Most importantly One block from Waikiki Beach!

The Waikiki Grand Hotel is the perfect place to relax and rest in between your adventures in Hawaii. The building is on the quieter end of Waikiki and offers the convenience and fun of Waikiki with also being mere steps from green space and less crowded beaches. The shared 10th floor sundeck offers stunning views of the ocean/beach, zoo/park and the magnificence of Diamond Head.

Whether you are a return visitor to the islands or a first timer, we offer our guests recommendations and tips to the area including shuttles, parking, food, entertainment and activities.

Overall this rental did not meet our expectations. On check in, the wifi information was incorrect, the television didn't work and there was insufficient cutlery (no forks). A call to the help line and this was all resolved very quickly.Pros:The unit was very large for a studio.The location to the beach was fantastic.There was a restaurant and a bar in the building.The elevator was very fast and directly across the hallway.Cons:The suite has no privacy at all with the curtains open. It is an inside corner unit meaning anyone walking down the exterior hallway can look into the suite. Many people waved as they walked by. I included pictures to show this.The bed was not comfortable - the plastic mattress wrapper made the bed feel like it was damp all the time.The sofa was less comfortable than the bed and the sofabed was terrible - you could feel the wooden frame.The floor was very dirty when we arrived.

Front desk staff often not as desk. Management raised voice to my sister after the front desk clerk helped her pay for 1 night parking but did not give her a tag. Management blamed sister for not reading email closely enough (2 sent, 1 with no info about decal the other directing to front desk who did not offer this in the conversation). Very negative customer service experience. Kitchen items like silverware were missing. Great area. But not sure I’d stay again.

I booked this baded on price. Overall, i was happy with the unit because of location. It does need some tender loving care to make it a better place to stay. I would rent agsin provided i only had two people and did not need a secondary bed (please replace that lousy futon). If you have two people only seeking a place to sleep at night, this is for you. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION !

El apartamento es muy pequeño, no tiene vistas, da a todos los aires acondicionados de los hoteles, con lo cual si abres la ventana entra mucho ruido. El propio aire acondicionado de la habitación hace mucho ruido. No estå especialmente limpio, le faltan cubiertos y ajuar de la cocina y tiene alguna luz fundida o sin bombilla. En general un poco descuidado. Mucho peor que en las fotos. No lo recomendaría por el precio que tiene. La piscina del hotel es pequeña y no estå limpia, no fuimos porque no merece la pena. Lo bueno es que estå situado en una zona muy bonita y tranquila de Waikiki, con muchas posibilidades de aparcamiento para el coche y la terraza del hotel tiene muy buenas vistas y la comunicación con el propietario también ha sido muy buena, pero en general cuando llegamos, tuvimos un poco de decepción y pedimos un cambio de habitación, pero en la recepción del hotel nos dijeron que no dependía de ellos y no nos podían ayudar. Si volvemos, buscaremos otra alternativa.

Beautiful place in a great location at a great value

This was a “no frills” type of place but knew it would be at the price point. I felt like it was an incredible value - the location alone makes it unmatched and we had absolutely no complaints with the service and comfort of the unit. Would recommend!

The properry overall was nice, 2 minute walk to the beach, close to 2 ABC stores which have damn near everything that you'll need for your stay. numerous options for restaurants, also have Uber eats if thats what you want to do. The room did provide beach towels, chairs and boogie boards, an iron and a small ironing table, which was almost useless. What i didn't like, specific to the room was: It says it can sleep 3, well, it was myself, and 2 boys, 23 and 17 years old. The room was so small, it would only be suitable for 1 person. The bed was a double, barely enough room for me and my youngest son, and my oldest was on the couch which wasnt too comfortable. Not a table to eat at, only 1 real seat to put some food onto, on the counter next to the sink. The internet wasnt working in our room despite the best efforts of the gentelman working the front desk. Maybe i didnt see how small the room was when i booked it, because it says sleeps 3, and i had no idea it was going to be approximately 150 sq ft. I would not advise this room for more than 1 person, even a couple would find this room to be small amd cramped. Waikiki beach was fine, except when you enter into the ocean, it qas full of rocks, coral that just ripped your feet apart. They are everywhere and so unpredictable on the size that i found it to be not even worth the effort to swim or catch some waves. Overall, experience was fine, doibtful that id return as Kauai is a much better overall experience.

Perfect family spot.

Love the walkability of the area, and how close it is to literally everything. The staff were super helpful and patient. The room itself had a little wear and tear, but it had everything we needed and more. Would definitely come back.

The location was excellent however the property was a bit rundown. Some of the lights didn’t work and were unable to be repaired. Instead we were advised by the maintenance person to avoid using it. The floor lamp was also not working and even when the bulb was changed the lamp could only be turned on and off by unplugging.

We loved every bit of it, we were barely in the room because we were so busy doing whatever our Birthday boy wanted to do! Last day before we checked out, we got to actually spend time before we left the facility! Would book here again! Loved that it was right next to the zoo, we got ti walk across the street after eating breakfast at denny’s. It was all top tier for us! Our first time as a family to travel & celebrate our boy! Didnt really need to talk to Mark during our stay because everything was perfect, but before we even flew in, he was very good at communicating!

Perfect location

This small but cozy apartment was perfect. we had spent a week in a hotel and wanted to extend out stay. this location is absolutley perfect, The park is adjacent to the property, the zoo across the street. The pier, a n area in the ocea that is a safe place to allow children to swim without fear of getting too far out. The area has an elevator that make it easy to access the floors, a laundry in the basement, and a sun deck on the roof that has the most beautiful view of the mountains and ocean. Thank you for an afordable safe place to spend our additional week in Wakiki.

Great place to stay!

Everything was just as described. Pretty basic, simple checkin/out process, they were quick to respond to any requests or questions I gad during my stay. Highly recommended.

Excellent location & price

This was a good stay. Loved the location, the price and the size was reasonable. Only reason it wasn’t an excellent stay was the blinds in the room don’t block the beaming lights from outside. It was pretty bright at night while trying to sleep. Switch out those terrible worthless blinds and it’s five stars all around. The accordion door to the bathroom was a pain too. Make sure you go up to the 10th floor patio, beautiful views of Diamond Head and the beach.
