[b]HELPFUL RESORT INFORMATION[/b]

• Resort Front Desk Operating Hours: The front desk operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for seamless guest assistance, late-night arrivals, and concierge services.

• Standard Checkout Time is strictly 10:00 AM. Hilton Vacation Club standard guidelines apply. Early checkout is available for a $0.00 fee. Late checkout between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM is available for a $99.00 fee.

• Daily Resort Charge: Your booking includes a mandatory $35.00 daily resort charge per night. This fee covers high-speed guest internet access, 2 bottles of water per day, fitness/cultural activities, a 10% discount on the daily parking fee, 25% off daybed rentals, and 1 select appetizer with the purchase of an entree at the poolside bar.

• Estimated Nightly Taxes: In addition to the nightly rate and resort fee, stacked local lodging taxes apply (comprising the Hawaii Transient Accommodations Tax and Honolulu County Transient Accommodations Tax totaling 18.5%), which equate to approximately $41.48 per night.

• Hotel Renovation Notice: Please note that the hotel will be undergoing structural property renovations until December 31, 2026. To preserve your vacation experience, all resort amenities, pools, and dining services will remain fully open and operational during this timeframe.

• Physical Structural Notice: The Modern Honolulu features an iconic 17-story high-rise architecture fully equipped with multi-elevator access. The resort operates using an Allocate Upon Arrival system. Specific unit assignments, floor levels, and exact window or balcony orientations are determined dynamically by the resort front desk team at check-in.

[b]HOUSE RULES / POLICIES[/b]

• Check-In Age & Identification: The primary guest registered on the reservation must be a minimum of 18 years of age at check-in. You must present a valid government-issued photo ID and a matching credit card upon arrival. Standard check-in begins strictly at 4:00 PM.

• Standard Cancellation Policy: Free cancellation is available up to 3 days (72 hours) prior to your scheduled arrival. Cancellations made past this 72-hour window, or failure to show, will result in a penalty charge equal to the cost of the first night's stay plus tax.

• Hilton Vacation Club Owner Bookings: Standard point or exchange booking guidelines apply. Cancellations must be completed within the approved window relative to your specific club tier to prevent credit forfeiture.

• Strict Non-Smoking Policy: 100% smoke-free property within all guestrooms and interior public spaces. This includes vapes, e-cigarettes, and marijuana. A dedicated cleaning fine of up to $500 USD will be assessed for smoking in a non-smoking room. Please consult the Front Desk for designated outdoor smoking area locations.

• Strictly no pets. Only certified ADA service animals that are trained to work or perform specific tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability are welcome. All other animals, trained or untrained, whose sole function is to provide emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companionship do not qualify as service animals under ADA guidelines and are strictly prohibited from the property.

[b]IMPORTANT NOTICE:[/b]

All our luxury resorts use a system called Allocate Upon Arrival which means the actual suite you will be assigned to is given upon check-in. These photos are a combination of all the different suites on site. If you have a floor, unit or building number that you would like to stay in, please do not hesitate to ask. The full-time on-site reservation check-in staff is happy to do their best to accommodate your request. Please note since we do not place you in an exact unit and this is done by the front desk staff, we cannot guarantee the requests, but will do our best to make sure they are accommodated. If your reservation is more than 4 nights you may be assigned to a new suite for housekeeping purposes. Keeping our suites up to luxury standard is our top priority.

The person checking in must be 18 years of age (or older). With this notion, please prepare a VALID ID and credit card in your name. A $200 Pre-Authorization from any major credit card upon checking in is required. After purchase you will receive an email confirmation showing your name on the reservation as the guest checking in within 14 days of check in date. Please bring a valid form of Picture ID. However, if you would like to change the name of the person checking in after you have provided this information, there will be a $99.00 name change fee and $129 on the day of check in. Any damages will be charged upon check-out.
