FAMILY FRIENDLY custom built and designed 3 bedroom, 2 bath beach house with beautiful sunrise views of the Atlantic Ocean and White Sound. Just a short walk to a great surfing beach and minutes to the Abaco Inn (indoor/outdoor restaurant, bar and pool). A nice walk to world famous Tahiti Beach , one of the most beautiful beaches on Elbow Cay. A short golf cart ride to picturesque Hopetown, restaurants, shopping, groceries and miles of pristine beaches.

DECOR

Colorful Bahamian/coastal style decor and furniture. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms and throughout home. First floor open living room with wall of windows and glass sliders out onto covered porch area. Entertainment center with large flat screen TV/ Bluetooth Sound-bar and Base and plenty of board games.

Custom designed features throughout including cathedral ceilings and fan/light combos in all bedrooms and throughout home, recessed lighting with dimmers, luxury vinyl floors with hand painted memory foam rugs, brushed nickel and oil rubbed bronze hardware and white, natural bamboo window shades.

Complimentary WiFi provided throughout the house.

LAYOUT

First floor open living room with glass sliders out onto covered porch area. Entertainment center with large flat screen TV/ Bluetooth Sound-bar and Base and plenty of board games.

Sunroom directly off the living room with sofa and matching ottoman, coffee and end table and a large wall mounted flat screen TV. Glass sliding doors lead directly out onto the deck, looking out over two gazebos and White Sound.

Dining room area with seating for 6 and beautiful water views. Open, fully equipped kitchen with designer Whirlpool appliances, including gas stove top/oven, built in microwave above, side by side refrigerator with in door water filtration and automatic ice maker, dishwasher, granite countertops and custom glass tile back splashes.

Door to outside covered deck/dining area. Walk out to large deck with bench seating along the entire back wall, separate, smaller seating area and fully enclosed and private outside shower. Large side deck area surrounding a custom, private, swimming pool and two gazebos separated by a locking gate. Plenty of seating/lounge areas to enjoy sunning and great views of the Atlantic and White Sound.

Two bedrooms downstairs, one queen and two twins beds and hall bath with tub/shower and double sink vanity with granite top. Upstairs Master Suite with king bed, flat screen TV, separate AC mini split, bathroom with large custom tile shower and frameless glass door, double sink vanity and granite top. Glass sliding door opens onto private deck with magnificent views of the Atlantic and White Sound. Cozy sitting area with rocking chairs.

NO PETS ALLOWED... Although we love our pets, we leave them home THIS IS A NON-SMOKING HOME We will not rent to students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. FAMILY FRIENDLY HOME, however, suggested caution for children under 5 due to higher elevation of decking Golf cart discounted rates based on availability... For stays of at LEAST a week or longer. Unfortunately, with no naturally occurring water source on the island we rely solely on collecting and manufacturing our own water. As such, water is a precious commodity which is why there are NO laundry facilities available at the house. We limit the use of our laundry equipment to be used by our cleaners only. If laundry is necessary for your stay there are several options on the island from self serve laundromats to full service that will wash and fold your laundry, all for a nominal fee. Our caretaker (local) is available for any needs

We have taken extra precautions to assure that our home remains as clean as possible. After each stay all high touch surfaces including tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, handrails, light switches, remotes, wardrobe and cabinet handles, desks, toilets, sinks, bedside tables, and kitchen and bathroom surfaces will both be cleaned and disinfected.

Although we do have a supply of hand sanitizers throughout the house we do suggest bringing extra hand sanitizer, disinfectant spray and anti-bacterial soap with you.

We do have WiFi service throughout the house and TV's where you can stream programs but please keep in mind that this is still the Bahamas so speeds and connectivity might not always be what you are accustomed to back home.

Current status of Elbow Cay/ Hope Town….

On da Beach (food/drink), Abaco Inn (breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar), Firefly Resort (food/drink), Hope Town Inn & Marina, (marina services, pool, bar, and lunch at Bridget's Rum Bar), Mackey's (take out), Cap 'N Jacks( food and drinks),Cap'N Jacks Wholesale liquor and beer (Take Out), Sip Sip (take out wine, spirits and beer), Willie's Kitchen (take out) LVA and Harbourview Groceries, golf cart rentals, boat/fishing charters and boat rentals, bike rentals, Hope Town Canvas, Sun Dried T's, Crazy Crab and Sea Biscuit Bakery & Co, are all fully open for business, just to name a few.

Jarrett Park Playground at the Post Office Dock is rebuilt and better than before, along with the Hope Town Clinic. The beaches and water are still magnificent and the people are as friendly as ever.

Currently all of the island has full power. Catch A Wave has both power and an automatic full house generator.

.The first phase of the Sea Spray Marina, rebuilding of the marina and boat slips is completed. Additional phases will include a bar, restaurant and a "village style" with a boutique hotel, shops and accommodations above.
