We arrived to the hotel and checked in like normal and were told to park around the side for easier access to the elevators. When we went to use our cards they didn’t work so we had to go back to the front desk. Finally once we got to our floor it was at least 80+ degrees up there. We got into the room and it was no better. There was no air on and the toilet seat was closed. When I opened it there were bugs inside of it and it looked like it had not been cleaned. The air only pushed out of one side so the room never got very cool. When we asked we were informed only one AC unit was working and was unable to keep the 3rd level cool. We were told they would come look at our unit but they never did. It was unbelievably hot on the 3rd level. Then our second night we returned late from a wedding and our key cards didn’t work yet again . If you plan to stay here make sure the air is working. Not work the $221 we paid for 2 nights.

Don’t hesitate.

Everything new, clean, bright and appealing. All carpets are gone and replaced by clean bright washable flooring; a plus for everyone. Beautiful bathrooms. Nothing is lacking. Inexpensive price points. Fabulous value. Genuine staff. Close to every service.

Upon entering the room I noticed there was feces on the toilet seat. Absolutely unacceptable but I went down and told the owner and showed him a picture. Instead of taking care of it right away he said house keeping would clean it in the morning. Well after I got back to my room the next day the bed was made but the toilet still was not cleaned, leading me to believe that they do not clean the bathrooms. I went back down and talked to the Owner and he said I was Lucky because Hotels normally don’t clean everyday which I replied they do in between guests which he scoffed at. I then said it’s clear he doesn’t care and that set him off and he told me that I’m free to leave. There was also a trash can in the hallway that smelled awful that was not emptied for two days until I mentioned it. Stay away from this place. It’s absolutely disgusting and the owner will not care about you or the cleanliness of your room as long as he gets your money.

Owners were on site and extremely accommodating to our family. The included breakfast was very good. The location is very convenient to area features like Pennyrile State Park and Beach. Also a great water park 5 minutes away. The only disappointment was the pool not yet open.
