arrival for early airline departure

Pros: Nice balcony to a lovely courtyard and quiet place on the waterfront.
Cons: nothing
Location: Peter Sport Café, the waterfront with lots of oceanbound sailboats, lovely restaurants
We had an early air flight departure and did not want to risk missing the ferry from Madalena, Pico to Horta so we arrived the night before. We had a wonderful experience and enjoyed an evening cocktail and dessert at Peter Sport Café after a wonderful dinner at Genuino restaurant. The lovely Pico red wine and mojito was perfect from the hotel bar. Had a pleasant sleep and powerful shower in our luxury room. Perfect!!
