Welcome to our house right on Porto Pim beach. Enjoy your breakfast or sunset drink on the magnificent front yard or cross the street for a relaxing swim. It has a supreme location with gorgeous view to one of the most beautiful beaches in the Azores.
Beach House @ Porto Pim is a self-catering house with a lovely front yard overlooking the ocean.
It has one bedroom with a queen size bed (and a gorgeous window overlooking the ocean and the beach), and one large bedroom with two twin beds.
The kitchen is fully equipped and ready to enjoy with the usual amenities including oven and micro-waves.
It comes with cable TV and free wireless internet so you can keep connected, in case you like.

While have you the feeling of being right on the beach, the house is located in the city center within walking distance from many convenient places: the Marina, grocery stores, bakery store, and a few coffee places and nice restaurants just around the corner.
Walk across the beach and visit the Old Whaling factory, the Dabney family's house or the Porto Pim small aquarium and live fish station.
Or enjoy the hiking trail around the Guia Hill and experience the gorgeous views from the top.

Location is perfect. Possibly har to park in summer high season otherwise great. Short walk to shops, restaurants with a couple right outside the door! Contact with owner very clear and quick. Great grass relax area and secluded. Building is a typical old house for the area. So you get the feel of local living instead of a boring hotel. Tv has lots of portugese channels as well as english speaking. Beds comfortable.

Eenvoudig vakantieverblijf, waar alles aanwezig was. Het terras is super! Je kijkt uit over de gehele baai van Porto Pim.Strand, restaurants, bakker zijn allemaal binnen een straal van 150m!

A lovely stay in Horta

My friend and I very much enjoyed our stay. Patricia the host was very accomodating. The house was laid out in a way where we each slept well in separate bedrooms, but could lounge in the front room. The outdoor patio had a fantstic view! Close to swimming and a fun cafe and an easy walk to the marina and shops. We could even use a washer, which helped. The only challenge was for my friend who has a bad knee, so the entry stairs were hard for her. But would be fine for most people! I would stay here again. Thanks!

Nettes Häuschen in Porto Pim

Uns hat das Haus sehr gut gefallen. Es war sauber und gut eingerichtet. Leider war der nebenan liegende Strand während unseres Aufenthaltes gesperrt und es wehte meistens so starker Wind, dass wir den Essplatz im schönen Garten nicht nutzen konnten. Von vielen Seiten ist uns aber versichert worden, dass beides im Juli sehr selten vorkommt. Die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos und wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Gute Lage für Unternehmungen, Haus gut ausgestattet, mit kleinen Einschränkungen

Ausstattung der Küche war wirklich sehr gut, das Haus insgesamt schwierig für Stauballergiker, auch durch die schlechte Belüftung eher muffiger Geruch, Matratzen direkt auf Holzboden, der kleine Garten mit der Sitzterrasse wäre ein absolutes Highlight, wenn es auch Schatten gäbe, ein Sonnenschirm wäre eine einfache und sinnbringende Anschaffung. Leider hatten wir ev. etwas Pech mit der Umgebung: direkt neben dem Haus waren Handwerker zugange, die stemmten und flexten untertags, in der Naht gab es alle 3 Nächte die wir dort waren in der Nähe laute "Musik" bis 3:30 früh, sodass an Schlaf nicht zu denken war. Der angrenzende Strand Porto Pim war gesperrt (bereits seit 10 Tagen). Insgesamt hätten wir uns mehr Ruhe und Gemütlichkeit von dem Objekt erwartet.

Ideal spot for enjoying Horta and Faial

This apartment is in an ideal location for everything Horta and the island of Faial offer. In the heart of Porto Pim, but uniquely quiet and private. It's a sweet and pretty space, and Patricia has ensured everything you need is there. The kitchen is complete for cooking any meals, with a Delta coffee maker, very nice dishes, glasses and cookware. The overall furnishings are comfy and inviting. Very clean. The beds are comfy with nice sheets and bedding. We slept deeply and were enthralled with the Cory's Shearwater calls at night. Eerie! The living room has a TV with cable and a wide sofa to kick back on. We never turned the TV on, too many other great things to do! There's a washing machine, which was great to have 11 days into a 3 week trip! Clothesline for drying in the yard. Bathroom is nice, with a great hot shower and full bathtub, big cotton towels and a hair dryer too. The yard, overlooking the beach and sea, is a nice retreat after driving the island or walking the port. It's a great location to walk from - old forts, the town, the marina, the 100's of paintings by the transatlantic boaters, walking up the 2 mountains right there, the sea to swim. Not to mention the 6 good cafes/restaurants within 2-3 blocks. The bakery/pastry shop is excellent, as is Atletico for fresh fish you will not believe! The little cafe was a sweet spot too for a quick bite. We didn't rent a car for the first 4 days, and were happily car-free. We could walk to all we wanted. Whale watching (go with one of the marine biologist tours - they know their stuff - Dive Azores was fabulous!), kayaking, exploring the town and seawall paintings. Then, we rented a car and drove to all the big and little places. Wandered little roads, found sweet towns and old ruins, swam in natural sea pools, hiked, explored parks and volcano and caldera. Patricia greeted us warmly and oriented us and was a super great host. When I ran out of English books to read she brought some over - how very kind of her. We really enjoyed meeting her and hope to see her again. We loved our week-long stay there and miss it already. It was hard to leave our little home in Horta!

Terasse zur Bucht

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in Horta verbracht. Das Haus liegt direkt an der Buchtmit einem tollen Garten mit Terrasse. In direkter Nachbarschaft sind ein freundliches Bistro, eine sehr leckere Bäckerei und 2 Restaurants. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir wären sehr gerne noch länger geblieben.

Very nice appartment, perfectly located

Spent an awesome week of vacation in Horta, Faial. Cosy, very clean appartment, really perfectly located 10m from beautiful Porto Pim beach and 10m from Taberna Porto Pim that serves excellent food at very reasonable prices. Nice cafe for breakfast a few meters further away. Despite all of this, no issues with noise at night. Warm welcome by Patricia, everything like described in the advertisement. Amazing scuba diving and snorkelling with Diveazores, beach fun at Praia do Porto Pim, Praia do Almoxarife and beautiful Faja beach (pay attention to waves and currents). Good protected bathing in rock pools at Varadouro. Fantastic sceneries and flora all over the island. Great whale watching (Naturalist) with sights of 3 diffeerrnt speciaes of dolphins, Bryde whale and (leaping !) sperm whales. 5 star holiday location !!!

Quase em cima da praia...

Fomos bem recebidos pela proprietária, para não falar de todos os contatos prévios e posteriores com ela. Muito simpática. A casa é muito agradável. O que está nas fotos é tal e qual. Adorámos, principalmente, a parte exterior com vista priveligiada para o mar. Quer para os miúdos brincarem, quer para relaxarmos, quer para fazermos refeições, foi muito, muito bom. Também muito boa a cozinha, com um ar moderno e muito bem recheada. Pormenores importantes: a casa disponibiliza alguns bens alimentares e de higiene que deram muito jeito, bem como wifi.

Parecia que não tínhamos saído de casa!

Encontrámos uma casa acolhedora, bem equipada e muito limpa. A localização é excecional quer pela proximidade da centro da cidade, quer pela maravilhosa vista sobre a praia de Porto Pim, ali mesmo ao sair de casa! É reconfortante descansar no jardim exterior contemplando tão bela paisagem. Foi com segurança total que já recomendámos a amigos.
