Der Wimmerhof, der erstmals 1420 urkundlich erwähnt wurde, wird als Grünlandbetrieb mit Milchwirtschaft betrieben. Derzeit werden zirka 15 Milchkühe mit Nachzucht, der Rasse Deutsches Fleckvieh gehalten. Bei der täglichen Stallarbeit können unsere Gäste gerne mitdabei sein oder sogar mithelfen. Dabei beantworten wir Ihnen gerne alle Fragen zu unserer Arbeit, unseren Produkten oder rund um die Landwirtschaft. Im großen Tiergehege tummeln sich Zwergziegen, Gänse, Enten, Hasen und die kleinste Schafrasse der Welt, die Quessant-Schafe. Daneben grasen genüsslich unsere beiden Ponys, Peggy und Sindy. Die große Leidenschaft der Bäuerin und Hausherrin Maria sind die Blumen und Kräuter, die man um den ganzen Hof und in der näheren Umgebung findet. Sie hat sich deshalb vor ein paar Jahren zur Kräuterpädagogin ausbilden lassen und gibt ihr Wissen nun sehr gerne an interessierte Gäste durch Kräuterführungen und herzhafte, geschmackvolle Gerichte weiter.
Sie haben die Möglichkeit, in einer unserer 3 neuen 5-Sterne-Luxus-Wohnungen im Ferienhaus zu wohnen, wo modernste Ausstattung auf uriges, rustikales Ambiente trifft.
