The Space:

Just 1 mile to both Oaklawn or downtown Hot Springs, this mid-century modern house is ideal for larger groups, events, and/or families and friends traveling together. There is a huge yard, large double patio, and outdoor grill to enjoy together. Offering plenty of space inside and out to eat drink and be merry together! You can always pickup a Redbox DVD/Blu-ray or stream a movie on the large 65ñ€ TV. Plenty of parking in back if needed!



The Atomic Ranch is a 2,500 sqft 4 bedroom 3 full bath single story brick home. This home has three king beds, one double and 6 singles made and ready to go. There are 3 jumbo rollout beds included for those extra guests with bedding. Atomic Ranch is decoratorated in the MCM Mid Century Modern theme. It is Located in a quiet business section of town. Sitting on a large double lot this home is offers tons of space for entertainment or relaxing. One block off central (business 7) and just one mile to downtown or Oaklawn horse track! Tons of entertainment at your fingertips, like go karts , laser tag, duck tours, Maxine's, bath house row as well as plenty of restaurants to enjoy. A few miles south on central is Lake Hamilton, one of the best lakes in central Arkansas. There you can rent boats, go fishing, dine at the lake front Maria. Don't forget the amazing hiking & biking trails, the Majestic Lake Ouachita, crystal hunting and so much more!

My family rented this place and arrived only to find the grass not cut which we overlooked. The inside of the house was very cute and cozy however it was blondish hair everywhere, the few dishes they had were not cleaned. It was late when we decided to settle down so bath time was a mess because we had to rewash the towels, we had to sleep on top of the beds because the sheets were dirty. One bed had nails, hair and stains (personal stains) on it. I contacted the owner to let him know about the complaints only for him to say that the housekeepers are human and could have been rushing. Never once did he ask how could he fix it or anything. Just that he was sorry and hope we had a safe trip. The picture looks way better than it does in person. If you decide on this place please make sure you inspect it before you get settled.

Great house!

This house was great at accommodating our large family. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of space. It is central to everything we wanted to see/do in the Hot Springs area. Will definitely plan to stay here again in the future!

Birthday Fun

We came to celebrate our daughters 27th Birthday, spent time at the casino, downtown and the races. Enjoyed our visit and the home was the perfect location, pool table was a bonus! Plenty of room, we stayed gone a lot and didn't cook, but enjoyed the home. The beds were so comfy! Would def. stay again! Plenty of parking we had 3 big trucks and the circle drive was nice. The process was a breeze. Booked, sent code early friday morn, and ck out was easy! Thats all it took! Will be back!!! Sherrie from MO

Vacation in vintage paradise!

The home was perfect for our multigenerational road trip. It was roomy and economical versus paying for 3-4 hotel rooms a night. It was close to the main road that leads to the attractions downtown. We were at Bathhouse row in a manner of minutes. It was near grocery stores and in walking distance to a convenience store. The patio has a grill that we enjoyed. It was stocked with towels and had extra roll away beds, so there were more than enough sleeping options. The three full bathrooms were key to us selecting this home. IYKYK! The spacious kitchen allowed us to cook meals and enjoy time with my elderly parents that we as group would not normally be able to have. The vintage home decoration was a refreshing change of scenery. It was a restful home in a beautiful city.

Not impressed part 1

The "Exceptional" rating on the Vrbo website was not accurate. This property was mediocre at best. It was an older home that looked like someone did a few repairs on and is trying to get some money out of it by listing it with Vrbo. Bad outweighed the good for sure. It was located close to downtown and had all the beds and baths as listed. Immediate issue was 6 guests were left with only 3 face cloths and no hand towels and I have to say that was handled almost immediately. 3 bulbs out of 4 in the ceiling fan were burned out an we found bulbs and changed them ourselves. Dining room and kitchen chairs needed to be tightened or re-glued because they were rickety. One of the yellow sofas in the sun room had a broken back and I slid backwards in the crack. Glad that did not happen to one of my elderly relatives. Master bathrooms was drafty and there was no heat. Tub had broken tiles and needed to be recaulked. All toilets rocked and needed to be reset. Kitchen drawers were dirty and stove was very old with knobs that did not work well and appeared to be melted. Two knobs had "Off" in the up position and other two in the down position. Many surfaces needed to be repaired and repainted. Box fan in bedroom had 1 blade totally broken off. Exposed wires on back hall ceiling where smoke alarm used to be. Motion/night lights provided did not work. Locks on bedroom doors were barely functioning. Had an incident where we had to rescue someone because the knob was stuck

So much space for activities!

My husband and I brought our 4 kids here and we let them each bring a friend. So there was 10 of us that stayed the weekend! There was room for several more! The pictures don't show how big the house truly is. The rooms are so spacious! Beds were comfy and having 3 bathrooms for that many of us was great! I absolutely loved the houses and entire aesthetic! The only thing that would have been nice to have was a broom so I could have cleaned up after the 8 kids better. Thank you for the amazing memories my family was able to make.

Disgusting and disappointing

I was completely disappointed in our stay at this house. I didn’t have WiFi so we sat outside the house for 30 minutes before the owner sent us the key code. I emailed the owner that morning to confirm our reservations but I didn’t receive any information on how to get in. The house and bathrooms were disgusting, hair and mold everywhere!!! I literally had to clean the kitchen and bathrooms before we could use them. Furniture was turned upside down in the sunroom and I couldn’t even look out the windows because of the dirtiness, it was sad. I contacted the owner on several occasions and sent them pictures but did not hear back from them. Don’t stay there if you enjoy cleanliness, they even charged me a 150 cleaning fee for what I don’t know, smh it was a horrible experience!!!

Awesome stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The location is great, as it is close to the Hot Springs area. The house is huge and easily slept 4 adults and 6 teenagers. Would definitely stay here again.

I would describe the location as "shabby/chic" with some emphasis on shabby. Plenty of hot water for showers and such with comfortable beds. The kitchen had adequate dishes and glasses but did not have adequate pots and pans for cooking. There was a propane grill but no propane. There was a stand alone grill but not connected; charcoal and lighter fluid were available. The pool table was usable but only one of the ques had a tip. There were no batteries in the play station controller and it was not hooked up to an auxiliary tv. The location was near the racetrack and downtown in an area of mixed business and residential.

Great stay close to downtown Hot Springs

This property is so cool! It's got a mid-century modern vibe and was close to lots of Hot Springs activities. It was great for our family reunion as there was plenty of room and bathrooms for everyone. The host was very communicative and helpful.

It was a great stay!!

The property was as listed. The house met our needs. It was eight of us and it was more than enough room. We would definitely stay at this location again. If we’re in the area again I will look to see if the property is available first before looking elsewhere.

Great Location

Really enjoyed the stay. Great Location! House is quite dated and needs lots of cosmetic updates. Had planned to cook some meals but bare minimum pots and pans and very old. A bunch of guys so we made do. Wives would not have stayed here. House was clean for the most part and beds were comfy. The place worked for a bunch of guys on a golf outing.
