We stay here every time we’re in the area. It’s always clean & accommodating. The location is perfect for the Kemah Boardwalk, all the waterfront eateries & todos… & they’re have a free breakfast buffet. Great bang for the buck!

I was disappointed in this Holiday Inn Express. Usually HIE is very clean and nice. Unfortunately the bathroom had mold and mildew and there were hairs in the towels. I would not recommend this as one of the Holiday Inn Express best properties, not even close.

Unfortunately, this was not a great experience. The room was in rough shape—scratches all over the walls and furniture, and the door was broken. Despite asking for the room to be cleaned, housekeeping never serviced it during our stay. Any time we asked the staff for help or information, it felt like we were inconveniencing them. They were noticeably frustrated and unhelpful. When we called to report issues with the room, only a few were noted, and it was clear they didn’t really care. To make matters worse, we were charged a random $150 fee that no one at the front desk could explain. We were told only a GM could speak to us about it. When we asked for a receipt or emailed confirmation of the charge, they couldn’t provide that either. Very frustrating overall—I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
