Great location and good breakfast overall. I would have preferred more variety in the breakfast options, but the current selections are fine. It does get very busy in the mornings, so it’s best to go down early.
We had to request daily housekeeping, as we were initially told the hotel only services rooms every other day. Since we have a toddler in diapers, we needed the trash emptied daily. The hotel accommodated this and provided trash removal, made the bed, and replaced towels—though we were missing towels (took the washcloth but never replaced) a couple of times, which was a bit frustrating.
Valet parking is also on the pricey side at $33/day plus tax, especially for an area that doesn’t really require valet. We chose self‑parking instead, which is $27/day (without in‑and‑out privileges). However, if you park for fewer than 14 hours, it’s only $10.
Overall, the hotel is a reasonably priced place to stay near the Galleria. The beds were comfortable and clean enough for a pleasant stay.
