The property is older than it appeared on the website. There was a smell to the hallway and the carpet has not been updated. Additionally, when I arrived, I had to give a deposit for my stay which was not addressed on the website. I do like that they do have 24 hr transportation to the airport but question the safety of the van.

On this overnight stay, my deposit was not refunded in timely matter but charged to by bank account. I called & was told it was the cost of my room, which was untrue due to booking through Expedia & pain in full through Affirm Visa. After holding a while, I was finally told that amount would be released & it would take a couple more days to get money back.

Stains everywhere (bodily fluids), smells of who knows what (bodily fluids as well?). Breakfast was microwaveable sausage wrapped in a pancake on a stick and 2 cereals. Wheelchair but a rut that was covered with a rug and abruptly stopped. We ended up leaving and halfway through our trip and finding a bit more pricey but WAY better accommodations.

When we arrived the TV in our room didn't work. I had to call the front desk twice. No-1 showed up the first time. I called back and they finally sent someone to fix TV. Then our toilet in restroom didn't work at all. We had to change rooms at 1130pm at night which was absurd. The male at the front desk was very non shalant and rude. I will not stay here again.

The young lady who checked me in was pleasant and got me going pretty quickly. Gentleman who picked me up in the shuttle was polite, and helpful. A couple issues I had was on the nightstand underneath the telephone, I guess the previous huest forgot their fake eyelashes, and they were missed in the clean-up. The place waa decent and convenient for a one night layover, thin walls though. Overall 6/10.

This place is not *paradise*, but there are some palm trees surrounding the Waffle House next door, so hey! The property has likely seen better days but it is a solid value at half the price of some name brand competitors nearby. My room was actually a suite, so plenty of room to stretch out and be comfy. The desk staff were very friendly at check in. Water and soft drinks are available for $1 and $2, respectively. GB Intercontinental Airport is just 3 miles away with a shuttle if you need it.

For the room price I feel like you get what you pay for. The room itself was clean. The a/c worked well. However, it seems there are A LOT of people staying there paying by the week. The hotel smelled like weed. The breakfast area was dirty and a lot of residences lingering. The parking lot was full of trash. Being this is a national motel chain I think I expected it to be a little cleaner and safer. Felt more like an apartment complex.

Don't recommend this property

The shuttle drivers were wonderful and the front desk staff were pleasant. However, theocatuon was a bit sketchy and the rooms were in need of a remodel. The furniture was in disrepair and the carpeting was ragged.

Poor Management

When booked a few months ago, I called hotel to confirm Hobby Airport shuttle; upon arrival at airport I called hotel and was told they don’t pickup at Hobby Airport Had to pay Uber $60 Checkin was fine, desk clerk very pleasant No phone in room Mattress & pillows were totally worn out Fire alarm went off at 12:30 am, no communication or personnel at desk to inform us as to how situation was being handled No milk for cereal, only toast available for continental breakfast At checkout I asked about compensation for inconvenience of fire alarm with front desk, young man was unresponsive I canceled our post cruise reservation due to hotel’s issues & personnel
