When you arrive at the Hokie Hideaway you will not even unpack the car before the fun begins!
Hokie Hideaway is full of fun and relaxation. Down at the beautiful two-level party deck, enjoy the water toys, two kayaks (one youth kayak), a paddle boat, and floats. There is also a picnic table down at the dock for your enjoyment and plenty of chairs and seating. This is going to be the best vacation ever!! Last one in the lake is a rotten egg...But the fun doesnât stop there!
Up at the main house, challenge your crew at the horseshoe pit, try your luck at corn hole, or hit up the croquet court. Treat yourself to a drink on the spacious deck, with comfortable seating, beautiful lights and a gas grill, all overlooking the lake and lovely private wooded area. The family will enjoy all the amenities of the home, including a custom built fire pit with plenty of wood for evening fires, and an open flat grassy area by the gazebo for kids to run around. All the necessities for a relaxing time away from it all... and we haven`t even talked about the inside yet!
The spacious home has an open living space encompassing the dining room, den (with Smart TV), and kitchen areas that spill over to the deck. The perfect place for a lovely outdoor dinner with gorgeous lake views. The kitchen has plenty of cookware to prepare a meal, right on the water. With 3 bedrooms on the main level, the King Master and two additional Queen Rooms everyone will enjoy a good nightâs sleep and be ready for a fun filled day of swimming and fishing.
Downstairs you will also find the Hokie Game Room! Try your luck at foosball, air hockey table, the Pacman arcade game, Connect 4 Jumbo Game, PlayStation 4 (with some games available), or the board games and card games available. Or, relax and stream your favorite show on the Smart TV.

Linens included. This includes sheets, pillowcases, 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth per person up to the maximum occupancy of the home, as well as a kitchen starter kit. Guest is responsible for making the beds.
House Rules for Your Stay
Responsible Renter: You must be at least 25 years old to rent the property. Proof of age may be requested. A parent or legal guardian must accompany guests under this age.
Occupancy Limit: The property is strictly limited to the number of guests specified in your reservation, as listed in the house advertisement (ages 2 and above). This maximum occupancy cannot be adjusted. Exceeding this limit is a breach of contract and may result in immediate eviction.
Pets Policy: Only dogs are allowed in approved pet-friendly homes with a paid fee. All pets must be leashed and under control at all times. Emotional support animals are not permitted unless explicitly authorized in writing with a fee.
No Parties or Events: The property is for residential use only. Parties, events, or loud gatherings are not permitted and may result in immediate eviction.
Quiet Hours: To maintain a peaceful environment, please keep noise levels to a minimum between 10 PM and 8 AM. Respect the neighborsâ right to quiet enjoyment.
Trash Disposal: Guests must remove all trash upon departure and dispose of it in the designated facility. The cleaning fee covers routine cleaning only and does not include additional cleanup.
Property Respect and Maintenance: Report any maintenance needs immediately to ensure a prompt resolution. Treat the home as your own; any damages or excessive mess may result in additional charges. Please return all furnishings to their original positions upon checkout.
Follow Local Regulations: Abide by all local laws and regulations. No parking on lawns or adjacent properties; please respect all parking restrictions.
Emergency Preparedness: Familiarize yourself with emergency exits and procedures. Keep emergency contact information accessible during your stay.
No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. Please use designated outdoor areas for smoking and dispose of all cigarette waste properly.
