Newly Renovated 2 bedroom with loft 1.5 bathrooms, beautiful views, pool, condo

Resting high on a hill overlooking the lake, Belview Bay Get-a-Way offers magnificient views both day and night of Smith Mountain Lake from the living area and deck of the end unit condo. There is NO BETTER PLACE for sunsets than at Belview Bay. During fall and winter the Dam is visible from the master bedroom window.

Whether your visit entails getting away and resting or you are looking for fun, SML offers it all. Enjoy a day boating on the lake fishing or exploring the coves and eat at one of the many lake front eating places or hang back and enjoy the pool.

Enjoy beauty, comfort and luxury in this comfortably apportioned end-unit condo. The full kitchen offers space to prepare and cook food while others chat at the kitchen bar. The living area is surrounded with windows which overlook the pool, lake and marina. There is plenty of storage, and the loft (1/2 bedroom) offers a a daybed with a trundle.

Upstairs, the master bedroom is large and has a newly furnished sitting area in addition to the king size bed. There is also a television with Comcast xfinity in the master bedroom.

Adjacent to the master, the second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full size bed on bottom and twin sized bed on top. The bathroom has a jetted tub surrounded by tile.

The loft is open to the large living area, but it is suitable for two to sleep comfortably on the twin daybed and trundle.

FYI YOU WILL NEED TO BRING SHEETS AND TOWELS. PILLOWS ARE PROVIDED.

The half bath is downstairs and allows a private area for changing and getting ready.

Enjoy gathering in the living room at the tv or enjoy the view in the sitting area.

The deck is a perfect place to end the evening watching the grand sunsets, the deer eating and the ducks crossing the lake. Then start the next day with coffee on the deck.

Activities nearby include walking the miles of trails at Smith Mountain State Park; swimming; boating; jet skiing; fishing for striper; checking out The Cliffs; shopping at Bridgewater Marina (about 20 minutes); visiting the SML Dam visitors center; visiting the D-Day Memorial in Bedford (about 30 minutes); visiting the Booker T. Washington Home near West Lake (about 30 minutes). Wintergreen Ski Resort is about an hour and a half away; the Peaks of Otter are a lovely hiking get-a-way; Zip-lines within 30 minutes drive. The newest adventure is a rope swing just before you reach the dam on the right. (Shhh)

Eating options nearby include The Dam Grill near Whitehouse Store, Heath's Waterfront Grill at Mariner's Landing, and the snack shop at SML State Park (seasonal). The White House Store at the intersection of White House Road and SM Parkway has a good grill and deli.

Golf at Mariner's Landing is 2 miles from the condo. The course is long and the scenery is good. There is a driving range. The pro-shop has hot-dogs, hamburgers and grilled sandwiches.

This is a great location in a quieter section of the lake which has plenty of goodies to make your stay enjoyable. Please note: High-speed internet was recently made available at this unit.

Sunset views!!

The condo was clean and comfortable with spectacular floor to ceiling windows of the lake with stellar sunset views over SML and the mountains. The location was perfect for our group of 5 adults— 5 minutes from the state park (fishing and hiking), 15 minutes to eateries/grocery, and 45 minutes to Peaks of Otter. Thank you for the wonderful stay! We hope to visit again soon!

Graduation week

The property was light, airy and very clean. It was lovely to be so close to the water and to be able to gather our family for graduation weekend. The selection of pots, pans and especially coffee-making machines was great, as we like to cook and drink coffee! Thanks for having us.

This condo was a great home base for my family's summer vacation to SML. The beds were a little uncomfortable, but there was good space my my family of six without everyone being underfoot (even on the rainy day when we were all inside all day). There is some minor maintenance to be done (chipping on ceiling, water spots), but everything was in pretty good condition, and we were able to find most of what we needed in the kitchen's cabinets. The pool was a favorite for my kids, as was walking down to the small beach to collect some shells. It is not far to marinas (boat rentals) or the state park (which has a beach). Very nice location!

Beautiful views and responsive host

Very thankful for Crystal providing the necessary info prior to the trip and taking my call when we first arrived and had a question. Our kids appreciated the soft couch and soft throw blanket and it worked well for them to sleep in the twin over full bunk bed (age of kids 8, 5, 2). The bedrooms were dark enough for us. It was a great trip overall.

Perfect condo for family

We enjoyed this condo so much during our time at the lake. Everything was clean, the owner was very responsive when I had questions, and the location was perfect since it is so close to the state park. We enjoyed the pool everyday. We will definitely plan on booking this place again!

Beautiful condo on SML!

We had a terrific time in the condo. It was clean and well appointed. The pool was awesome and had a great supply of inflatables! There is long path that goes down the hill to the lake where we were able to put in our paddle boards. Just be prepared for a workout walking back up the hill. Overall, we had a great time.

First Stay at Smith Mountain Lake

We loved the location and the view! Having the pool on the property and being able to walk right down to the lake was also great! The condo and the kitchen in particular had everything that we needed. The owner communicated with us quickly when we had questions or minor issues. You are required to bring your own sheets as well as bathroom and kitchen towels, which is clearly stated in the listing (just FYI). There is a coin operated washer and dryer, but no washer and dryer in the condo unit itself. Everything was very clean. The only criticisms we had are 1) The large sectional sofa looks really comfortable, but the springs are shot, and it was difficult to sit comfortably and to get out of the couch. 2) The porch had SO many spiders and spiderwebs all over the railing, furniture, screens, and walls. Obviously, we know that happens with outdoor spaces, but it looked like it just hadn't been swept or cleaned off in quite some time. Overall, it was a great rental for our family.

Graduation Trip

The property was great. I have not used VRBO before, so I am not sure of the protocols about linens. I would not use a VRBO again if I am responsible for bringing linens. This requires more packing and makes the trip less enjoyable. However, the property was great and we enjoyed it.

Nice stay

We were down there for a wedding so the location was great for us. We had a nice stay even with Hurricane Ian looming around all weekend while we were there. There’s a convenience store about 5 miles down the road so that was helpful when we had a power outage due to the storm. I wish we could of enjoyed the outdoors a little more but it’s okay we still had a good time. Hope to be back!

The condo was great. The owner was very prompt with replies to any questions, or concerns that we had. It would be nice if there were covered boat slips at the property, but I understand that the owner has no control over that situation. Parkway Marina is just a mile away, therefore we kept our boat there. Nice get away.
